i left goat explosion because they left plastiq. i cared more about the label than the band. but that band was a big part of my life. when jon wanted to start it back up i was on the first plane to new york. things were obviously very different, and i felt the same as you captain. but the front man is the front man and after jon lost interest there was nothing i could do to get things back on track. i left new york after just six months to try to keep what was left of flashlight party alive. goat explosion was what it was. three young, dumb, very inspired kids with synthesizers. i don't think that's something you can revive.
