how do I incorporate more goblin into my life as a minor who does not live near a forest?? :[
you're so cool btw
😱😱😱 I get to impart my learnings on to a young gobbo???? I am honored, and I shall do my very best to sum it up in an easy-to-understand way:
Lesson 1) Being a goblin/gremlin is a state of mind; it doesn’t necessarily matter where you live
Goblins are a thrifty and clever race. We can adapt to live and thrive anywhere we choose, be it a forest, seaside, prairie, swamp, desert, or city. Anywhere there are people, there are also goblins. You just need to learn how to spot them, since they can be hiding under your very nose 🔍
(that being said, dont expose them without their consent. that would be rude, since they may be hiding for a reason)
Lesson 2) Appreciate and educate yourself on your local ecosystem
Your local library is always a great resource to get information like this, especially since it’s free!
Go for walks as often as you can, become familiar with whatever form of nature is around you
You can take care of the critters around you better that way, both bugs and animals alike, and can befriend them easier 👍
Knowing the plants in your area help your foraging skills, and you can make crafts for cheaper if you don’t have to buy supplies
Plus then you have more of an idea on what is safe to bring home and add to your ever-growing hoard :)))
Lesson 3) GOBLIN = COLLECTING TRINKETS
What you collect is up to your personal preference, but we goblins tend to gravitate towards shinies and small treasures that can be pocketed easily on our adventures
cool rocks, enamel pins, button bins, bottle caps, soda tabs, glass bottles, coins, game pieces, bones, buttons, marbles, keys, jewelry, beads, etc.
if you found it on the ground or looted it from a garbage can, even better! you rescued it and are giving it a second chance!!!
If we’re talking about goblin attire, I feel like that would needs its own post, so I won’t go into it here
In general I’m sure there more I could say, but this was all I could think of right off the top of my head! Hope this answers your question!! Let me know if you want a part 2 :)
