hello world! let's try something, all you adults that have teenagers

im not saying all of you do this!! but if you do

if your kid is sad or seems like they're overreacting or get angry about something you deem insignificant, please don't blame it on hormones. it might be, but whether it is or isn't, it'll make them feel like they're problems don't matter to you. and they really look up to you, even if they brood!! if you're telling them that what theyre feeling isn't valid, that could result in them hiding stuff from you, deeming themselves sensitive, or not acknowledging their feelings. please understand that your teenagers are people too, and should be treated as such. maybe them accidentally breaking a glass or ripping a shirt doesn't seem like that big of a deal to you, but you don't know what's going on in their noggen. this could just be a breaking point for them, and you gotta respect that! help them if you can!

TLDR; please never say "oh it's just hormones" when your kid overreacts cuz that pushes aside their feelings and makes them feel like said feelings don't matter to you, or anyone.

being apart of cottagecore and goblincore just make me,, so happy. in a load of different ways, but the outfits make.me confident!! some days i wanna dress dirty and crazy and have little knickknacks on necklaces and have pouches hanging from my belt and have a giant jacket while i go through bushes in the forest. other days i want to wear soft colors and embroidered clothes and overalls and walk down a dirt road with my dog while we talk to the cows. and you know what's great about it? i can do that! and it doesn't matter to anyone else but me! cuz i like this stuff, so no body gets to tell me i can't! and i think that's beautiful

hello yes. my new hyperfixation is BEES. And as such, I wanted to ay: for the ... uh ... thing? you're doing with your ... sister, was it? the ... the scout thing xD ANYWAYS: a BEE PATCH!!! learning about bees, knowing bees, watching bees, planting flowers that help bees. AND a BEEKEEPING PATCH!!! going to a class on beekeeping. Helping a beekeeper, even if not with the actual hives but only with honey extraction.

gosh that's a WONDERFUL hyperfixation! bees are fantastic little friends, in all sizes, that help our earth!! bees are top teir lovelies

and yes! that project is still a work in progress, as i haven't had time to crochet said patches :/ thank you so much for your ideas!! i can promise that, while she will be hesitant and nervous, she would love learning about our fuzzy friends! as would i, and this could even become a bonding experience for her and I! thank you so much, friend :) also, that mask (i think it's a mask!) you are making/have made is wonderful! it looks very appealing to the eye :) cheers!! 💕
