Here's @kittenxlady'S post: Chloe's first acupuncture experience exceeded our wildest expectations. 😭😭😭 In this video you can see how relaxed she is during acupuncture and electroacupuncture (she literally fell asleep on her alpaca while listening to calming music)--and you can also see that she began to ✨kick her legs, move her tail, and even STAND UP.✨ This is incredible. Bear in mind that this is just a very small victory on a long road, but we now are looking ahead with more optimism than ever. Thank you to everyone who has donated so she can receive this care. ❤️❤️❤️ - Repost from @kittenxlady - Caring for my first paralyzed kitten, Chloe, has been SUCH an incredible learning experience. I discover new ways of looking at her every day; it's honestly the most I've ever had to imagine myself in someone else's shoes. The things she needs don't necessarily come to mind automatically, but the more I understand her, the better I am at giving her a happy life. I recently started noticing she wasn't leaving the bedroom very much, and at first I thought she just didn't want to be with us in the main part of the house. Then I thought about it more: the bedroom is the only place with an area rug, and that's where she likes to chill lately. This isn't just because she likes the rug...it's because it takes a lot of effort for her to get up on the bed or couch on her own, and the rug is the only floor-level soft spot to take a cat nap. So I pulled out a padded mat someone sent me recently (thank you!) and now Chloe is chillin' in the living room, super stoked. I can't believe it took me this long to realize such a simple thing: she wants a comfy place to sit that doesn't take too much effort to get to. Oh Chloe! I got you, girl. Now, let’s be quick. Kitten Lady has been doing amazing things. Chloe is just one of the many kittens she has helped/will help.

Chloe is now 4 months old, which means she is finally old enough to have an MRI. This will help them figure out what is causing her paralysis.
