Deities aren't always benevolent.
Any spirit worker has had scuffles with regular spirits here and there, but occasionally we unfortunately have to fight something much stronger: such as deities, high-ranking court fae, goetic demons. These fights are very different, as they can not only send grunts to attack with a wave of their hand, they can also do some intense, tricky, and high-level damage themselves. These go above and beyond what the average spirit can do, so thankfully unless you've messed with something big, it's unlikely that these things will happen to you.
