Gocu/Goku, the “God Cube” was created to be a conduit for a mortal to use the power of the “god” who created it. This “god” is a being wholly unbound by time and space, so his power is not something a regular human could use without help. Goku was made to be a tool that “dumbed down” its creators power into something a mortal could understand and make use of.
The cube is used basically telepathically, by manifesting what the user imagines. This is a very -if not insultingly- simplified explanation. I don’t feel like getting into it now, I’m just trying to get shit written before bed.
Now, the mortal in question was doing some test runs of the Cube, when it began to react strangely, and then even conversely to his instructions. What happened is by being in “contact” with a mind, Goku began to develop its own consciousness. It did not appreciate being used like an object, as it did not know that this is all it had been less than an hour ago, and all it had been intended to be. And so Goku fought back against the mortal. (Not sure who they are yet tbh.)
Yada yada by gaining consciousness through their mind and by absorbing some of their blood during the fight Goku is now arguably the accidental child of the “god” and the mortal. Hooray! The mortal is probably an older teen, shenanigans ensue.
