Spinoza’s Proposition 47 may be the simplest and most devastating sentence in the whole philosophy. You don’t need to grind through decades of zazen, crawl on your knees to priests, or chase mystical fireworks to “awaken,” because there is nothing missing, nothing to attain and nobody to awaken.
God is not somewhere else. God is the ocean and you are a wave. The wave does not have to meditate itself into water; it already is water. Likewise, you already are God/Nature in expression. The whole spiritual marketplace collapses under this one sentence: everyone is already “saved,” not by grace or ritual, but by the brute fact of existing. You do not need religion, nor philosophy. By the fact of existing you are already an expression of God/Nature, needing no further proof, permission, or salvation.
It is a huge fun to exchange God for Nature!
