i used to not care about caine at all, but i’ve come to absolutely adore him and relate to him so much. literally all he seems to do is try to make them happy in a way he understands. he doesn’t even mean to be a mean person, but he doesn’t know what he’s doing wrong. all his code tells him is that humans need enrichment so he believes his adventures will provide that.

i personally relate to his need for validation that maybe isn’t as in our faces as the other qualities he holds. his constant catering to people is relatable and shows how complicated he is even though he’s an AI.

when he has therapy with zooble, he knows therapy is supposed to help humans but he doesn’t know how to even begin to help them. “then what is your problem zooble? i’m trying my best to remember but both you and my brain won’t tell me!” He understands there’s something wrong but he can’t figure out what. Zooble tells him how they hate their body and he’s like “oh there’s a solution to that, so what’s the problem?”

he doesn’t get humans, and i don’t either which is why he’s so understandable. I have genuine sympathy for him, i mean yeah he crashed out, but he just tried. And his crashout was kind of understandable tbh. with that many people shouting derogatory things to me, i would too. especially bubble. “you really were the lesser of the two” like holy shit man i’m sure even as an AI that sucks to hear.

okay yeah, that’s my rant on how caine is incredibly relatable even though he’s an AI. maybe this is just common knowledge in the fandom but i wanted to express how i felt about him. this was very fun and i might do it again :b
