i was gonna post her in a batch with the other god's echo ocs once i got to making their profile images for my site but she turned out very pretty. so i'm posting her now. look at my robot

last oc ref for a while i'm finally caught up lol. anyway here's the almighty (previously known as null, real ones remember)

i wanna make a height chart for the main cast of god's echo because i think their actual size doesn't come across well on their refs. lumina is probably the only "normal" one in terms of height at 6', everyone else is pretty damn tall

been thinking about what the god's echo ocs sound like and their general speaking patterns. i don't have actual voice claims for most of them but i can imagine what they'd sound like in my head

i imagine lumina speaks pretty bluntly, yet is polite and formal. she has a pretty neutral sounding voice, not high pitched, but not very deep either. starts off androgynous sounding but leans more feminine over time as she rediscovers herself. also starts showing very little emotion in her voice and tends to come across as unfeeling, but she becomes a bit more expressive over time. still generally kinda subdued even when she starts showing more emotion tho. has a neutral accent

she tends to call people by name exclusively, unless they ask to be called by a nickname. she doesn't come up with them herself even if she likes the people in question

also i imagine her voice sounds kinda robotic (duh, she's literally a robot). but in the way vocal synths like vocaloid, utau, synth v, etc sound robotic. she has more range than the typical text-to-speech program basically

zephyr has a kind of airy, level voice. he has a deadpan sort of tone most of the time, which makes him sound tired and disinterested. kind of asshole-y sometimes, actually. usually very quiet and doesn't speak much unless he deems it necessary, and has a habit of not explaining what he really wants from people that gets on lumi's nerves (or circuits? idk). he's the only one i don't have a set accent for yet, i keep flip-flopping between average american accent and... vaguely brittish(????? i really have no idea)

he calls lumi "machine" before everyone finds out what her name actually is, and tends to call others by what they are instead of their name. (he's bad at remembering names. like Really bad. he only knows his siblings' names because he's known them for thousands of years lmao)

i imagine he makes more animalistic noises too, mostly bird-like noises like little chirps and trills, but he can also growl like a dragon. he sometimes whistles with the winds like he's singing

sage has the deepest voice of the three deities, but not by much. they tend to speak to people casually and with a sense of familiarity, coming across as very friendly and earnest. they're very rarely mean or rude to anyone. i imagine them with a bit of a southern drawl too. overall i'd describe their voice (and them in general really) as very warm. good vibes :]

they often call people "friend" or a nickname that's usually just a short version of their actual name regardless of how long they've known the people in question

also they do make horse noises sometimes. usually neighs or whinnies when they're startled, or huffing when angry

siren has a kind of... like, sultry voice, i guess? at least it can come across that way. she has what could be described as a transatlantic accent, but more on the subtle side. also has a Very big vocabulary. her speech is very colorful, almost like she's weaving a story or poem. she even rhymes unintentionally sometimes lol. not technically her voice, but she tends to talk with her hands a lot too and makes a lot of flowing motions as she talks

she tends to call people "darling" or "sweetheart", or assigns them an affectionate nickname if she really likes them. before they learn her real name (and sometimes after), siren calls lumi "treasure" :]

her mesmerizing singing voice has a bit of a hypnotic effect like sirens in our myths. that ability has the passive effect of making her normal voice very soothing to listen to. also i don't think real sharks make a lot of noise, but i imagine she does let out a growl or hiss sometimes. it's embarrassing tho, she thinks it's "unbecoming of a lady such as myself"

the almighty is the only character of the god's echo cast i have an actual voice claim for, and that's the end from sonic frontiers. specifically the more feminine voice (cindy robinson). it has a similar reverb effect to its voice, and speaks very loudly and bluntly. it says exactly what it needs to and nothing more, so it tends to sound very cryptic. like lumi, it doesn't show much emotion in its voice, except for frustration which slips out often

it refers to everyone else exclusively by name, but calls lumi "my echo" sometimes. this is not an affectionate nickname in the slightest

last oc reintroduction post, this time talking about the almighty (previously known as null)!

the almighty is the creator deity worshipped in the kingdom of eterna. as a being made of pure light and void, it is extremely powerful, with the ability to manipulate both light and darkness and control all forms of matter to its will

it is also the source of the penumbra, the darkness that consumes the world, therefore making it the antagonist of lumina: god's echo

personality wise, it appears completely unemotional and logical. It's a perfectionist, desiring nothing but perfect order for its universe. it views everyone in the world as below it in a way, though its not intentionally cruel. it's more like... it sees the world and everyone in it in a similar way to how we view fiction

it has come to hate the world and desires to reset it so that it can remake it entirely, not caring for the harm causes in the process

anyway enough sonic posting. it's oc posting time. part 3 of oc reintroductions this time featuring siren

siren is the god of sea and song, and therefore protects the world's oceans and everything within them

she has the ability to control water to her will, reshaping it however she wants and even changing its state of matter by freezing or evaporating it. she can draw out water from moisture in the air to summon waves out nowhere and merge with any nearby body of water. she also has a hypnotic singing voice, kinda like her namesake

she's a trickster who likes playing pranks on people and seeing their scared faces. she also absolutely loves all things precious and shiny, and is known to steal treasures from sunken ships (that she may or may not have had a hand in sinking) to hoard in her cove. despite her (frankly dangerous) mischievous streak, she's very nice to those she takes a liking to, and is quite confident and outgoing

just like her sibling sage, she fell to the monsters spawned from the Penumbra. An ice spell gone wrong has left her, and everything within her cove and along the coast outside of it, frozen. trapped and unable to move, she waits for someone to set her free...
