My Happy Spring
I’m not that religious. I dont go to church every sunday. I dont pray everyday.I’m not a good person. And there are times where I wavered. But till this day, even though I dont show it much, my faith, hope, love, and belief is stronger than ever. Within me, even if science or others say otherwise, there’s still GOD warming up my doubts, my fears, my hatred, and my heart. This God inside me is a candle that has been lit ever since I was in my mother’s womb. As I grow older I learned, heard, saw everything life and reality has to offer. I may be consumed by the dark, but that small little ball of fire never died out. Everyone has their own opinions, beliefs and their own outlook of life. You can’t force them to think what you want them to think. If what they hear from others or what they see could not convince them that there is Him, then ask them why and listen. Just listen. Calamities, Fear, Hatred, Poverty, Death. Those are some of the reasons why my belief wavered. Maybe others thought so too. But then I see the good things. Helpers, Family, Love, Friends, Charity, Saints, Dogs, My new born baby sister, and my Mom. As much as the bad things that God has shown me or challenged me made me grief so much, His blessings/gifts outshined them all. And so I thank my little candle for not giving up and dying on me whenever the wind blew so hard, whenever the sky teared up like an endless typhoon, whenever the cold made you shiver and wan, whenever the dark crawl your light, whenever the fear eats you up slowly, and whenever my hand flick your fire. Thank you very much God for giving me that little candle alight with your warmth.
