Living on the outskirts of Asgard with her twin sister and adopted parents was Juniper’s forte, that is until her sister decided to go back to Midgard. Then is was just her and her parents, but still a peaceful quiet existence. There wasn’t mush chaos in the country side, and that’s exactly how Juniper prefers it.
Everything seemed too perfect, until one sunny afternoon when the Palace guards showed up to her front door.
“What do you mean I was chosen to marry the prince? Isn’t a marriage supposed to be a mutual relationship?” You question your mother.
“In the traditional sense yes, my dear, but do we really do traditional in Asgard?” she explains.
“Asgard is built on tradition!” she rebuttals.
“Well that may be but there is simply no way out of this. Fate decided this years ago.”
Juniper wanted to be angry, but her mother’s cool collected attitude exudes, and her empathic abilities take over. Still, she clenches her fists and huffs at her parents.
With that, her mother urges her to get into the car without delay, for there are many things to do before the sacred meeting. Tonight is the night where you are to meet your betrothed, the mischievous prince of Asgard.

You gave me a beautiful daughter, and have been the best friend anyone has to me. And when it comes to love...well, we know where this is heading. I love you. That love stretches further than any ocean in your realm, or the highest tree in your forest. To the moon and back again, you once told me. Well, all the way to Johtunhiem and back...

It took several minutes for Bruce to become even remotely aware of where he was. Subconsciously, he knew he was still in the Tower, but as to which room, he had no clue. His head ached, and every thing felt thick and foggy. The tips of his fingers felt numb, and as he moved to stretch them, he found that his wrists had been tied together. He tried to move, and it quickly became apparent that he was going nowhere. His ankles, legs and arms had all been tightly tied together. He felt a bit like a fish on a hook. He tried to scream, but someone had gagged him with-- a bow? Yes, that was definitely the bow from the top of a Christmas present stuck in his mouth. He tried to push it out with his tongue, and tasted lipstick.
Viper.
'I'm gonna kill her,' he thought, struggling. 'When I get my hands on her-'
He heard a door opening, and looked up sharply. The color immediately drained from his face, followed by a dark blush as he finally realized where he was.

Loki: -wheels around in the wheelchair, until he finds Bruce in an empty hall- 18:32
Bruce Banner is standing by the window, sipping a cup of tea 18:34
Loki: Hello there...-stares down at his hands- 18:34
Bruce Banner: Hi. 18:35
Bruce Banner: Shouldn't you be in bed? 18:37
Loki: I probably should be. But, it came to my attention that one of my cuts were bleeding, and I didn't trust the other doctors with stitching it up...so I thought I'd ask you... 18:38
Bruce Banner: -frowns slightly, but doesn't respond- 18:39
Loki: -sighs- Fine, I'll ask someone else. 18:40
Loki: -turns to wheel out of the room- 18:41
Bruce Banner: I don't know why you thought of me in the first place. You'd really trust me poking a needle into your arm right now? 18:41
Loki: You're the best doctor we have here. I just thought...nevermind. 18:43
Bruce Banner: -sighs- Wait there. 18:43
Bruce Banner: -goes to get his first aid kit- 18:43
Loki: -weakly smiles, turning his wheelchair back around- 18:44
Bruce Banner: -comes back and crouches down to take a look at his arm- Don't smile like that. This doesn't mean I'm talking to you. 18:45
Loki: Technically, you're speaking to me now. 18:46
Loki: -looks down- Once more chance, it's all I want. Please. 18:47
Bruce Banner: -doesn't look at him, preparing the needle and surgical thread- Why should I? 18:47
Loki: Because I need you, and I don't know what I'd do without you. I hope...that you return such feelings. 18:49
Bruce Banner: -looks up, surprise and hurt on his face- What's that supposed to mean? 18:50
Loki: Because at the minute you're....you're like this. I made a mistake, a-and I was drunk...I still love you. And I'm not sure at the minute if you want us to be together or not... 18:53
Bruce Banner: -starts stitching up his arm- Oh, you love me now, do you? So why wasn't that enough to stop you from trying to kill yourself? 18:54
Loki: I...I never tried to kill myself. Bruce. It wasn't intended to be suicide. I..I don't know what I was thinking. 18:56
Loki: -winces as the needle pierces his skin but does his best to hide it- 18:57
Bruce Banner: -takes an almost vicious pleasure in sewing up the cut, but it's over quickly- 18:58
Loki: There's...a few other ones. I'd...appreciate it if you could look at them. 18:59
Bruce Banner: -frowns... shakes his head and sighs under his beath- I don't believe this... 19:00
Loki: If you don't want to...okay. 19:02
Bruce Banner: What in the world makes you think I'd want to be cleaning up this mess? 19:03
Loki: -sad expression, but looks down at his hands- I know not...it was foolish of me. 19:04
Loki: I...I have something to tell you though. 19:05
Loki: You remember Matt? Daredevil? 19:05
Bruce Banner: -crosses his arms- yes... 19:06
Loki: He's...trying to get Raven out of her cage. If things go correctly, she'll be able to come back here again with the Avengers... 19:06
Bruce Banner: Oh... that's... great. 19:08
Loki: -weakly smiles- I just thought, you might want to know...I'll leave now, if it pleases you. 19:10
Bruce Banner: -gets up- Actually, I've... got somewhere to be right now. -walks past him- 19:11
Loki: Goodbye then... 19:11
Bruce Banner: -half waves at him, before going back to his room and lying face down on his bed with a groan- 19:13
Loki: -sighs and looks around his room, seeing Bruce's vacant Ipod. Curious, he looks onto the pictures and surely enough finds the picture Bruce took many nights ago- 19:13
Loki: -slowly places it back on the table, unable to hide a small stream of tears, running his hand other his face- 19:15
Bruce Banner: -after about half an hour, Bruce goes down to the cells to talk to Raven- 19:17
Myst curls into a ball in her cell, her legs tight against her chest as she replays the "conversation" with Maximus over in her head. 19:18
Bruce Banner slowly walks into the basement and down the stairs 19:20
Myst bit her lip, so engrossed in her thoughts, that she's letting her guard down and is unaware of the approaching company 19:23
Bruce Banner: -quietly- R-Raven? 19:23
Myst: - head snaps up in surprise - Dad? 19:24
Bruce Banner: -sits down opposite her, his hands shaking- 19:24
Myst: What's wrong? 19:25
Bruce Banner: -opens his mouth to speak, then suddenly starts to cry- 19:25
Loki: -wheels down to the surveillence room, watching their conversation from CCTV- 19:26
Myst gets up and walks towards him, a small baby bump showing, before kneeling by the glass before him, her hand on the circular window 19:26
Bruce Banner: R-Raven... h-help. Please... I don't know what to do... 19:27
Bruce Banner: Loki. I-... I just... c-can't come to grips with what he did and-... I-I don't know. It just.... r-really hurts to keep going like this... 19:28
Myst: You mean him jumping? ... why did he do it? 19:29
Bruce Banner: -wraps his arms around himself- He says he 'wasn't thinking'... and... th-that really scares me. That he could just do something like that without a second thought about it... 19:31
Bruce Banner: What if something had happened to him? 19:31
Myst: He's a god... I think it would take more than jumping off a building to kill him... 19:32
Bruce Banner: -sighs- That's not the point though... 19:33
Myst: I know it's not... 19:34
Myst: The issue is why... a man does not jump off a building for nothing... was he thinking straight? No... was it stupid and selfish of him? Yes... But none of us have been thinking straight lately, let's face it. 19:35
Bruce Banner: Yes, but we haven't tried to jump off the roof either! 19:37
Myst: Well, no... but I've done my fair share of selfish shit to people... now haven't I... 19:39
Myst: I told you how I went after one of Matt's enemies, the other day... Coyote? I knew what he was, what he could do... and I went anyway.. the guy creates rifts in the air and can throw you around like a rag doll... 19:40
Myst: He could have killed me... was I being an idiot? Yes... did I put, Evie in danger? Yes... - pauses, with a slight frown - ... of course, he knew all about the baby anyway... 19:41
Bruce Banner: -frowns- That's called doing your job though. 19:42
Myst: What job...? I don't work for anyone but myself... that was personal... 19:42
Bruce Banner: -sighs- Fair point. But you can understand why I'm upset, can't you? 19:43
Bruce Banner: If he HAD managed to get himself killed-- not even. Just the fact that he wasn't thinking... and he ended up hurt... 19:44
Myst: Yes... I can understand... but as much as I'd love to judge him for his idiocy... I have no room to talk.. 19:44
Bruce Banner: I just-... that recklessness scares me, Raven. It absolutely terrifies me... 19:45
Myst: And yet it's all over this little family... If Evie grows up to be this reckless, it'll be payback for my own... 19:45
Bruce Banner: -runs a hand through his hair- I just... don't know how much more of this I can take.... 19:55
Myst: What do you mean, Dad? - presses both hands against the glass - 19:56
Bruce Banner: -quietly- You know what I mean... 19:57
Myst: ....................... so... you and Dad are... - drops her head into her hands - ... god this is my fault! 19:58
Bruce Banner: No! Sweetie, this is NOT your fault. Not at all. 19:59
Myst: ... If I hadn't told him I was thinking of joining the Superiors... he wouldn't have been up on that roof... I might as well have been the one to push him over the ledge... 20:01
Bruce Banner: Raven, it's not your fault. Don't think of it that way... please... 20:01
Bruce Banner: You didn't make him risk his life to do something stupid. 20:02
Myst: He was already stressed as it was with Odin, and Thor... my coming back... and I wasn't very kind to him when he came to see me. 20:02
Bruce Banner: -stands up, walks over to the control panel of the cells and opens the door... walks inside Raven's cell and hugs her- 20:04
Bruce Banner: Stop... please... 20:04
Myst a guard clears his throat. "Dr. Banner... I'm afraid I'm going to have to ask you to leave the confinement zone." 20:06
Myst: - hugs him back, laying her head against his shoulder - Dad... I'm so sorry... 20:07
Bruce Banner: -turns and raises an eyebrow at the young man- Sorry. I'm having a bit of a bad day Mind if I spend just five minutes sitting here? We're just talking, even you can see that. 20:07
Bruce Banner: -rubs her back gently and kisses her forehead- I... I-I'm sorry too sweetheart... 20:08
Myst the guard hits the button, sealing them both inside. "I'm sorry, Dr. Banner... but we are under strict orders that she is not allowed out.. under any circumstances... if you wish to go in, you must stay in for a time as well. Until Fury clears your release." 20:09
Bruce Banner: -chuckles- Brilliant... Right. Well. That's fine, I suppose... 20:09
Myst: - shakes her head against his chest - I've screwed so many things up in the last few days... please don't tell me I screwed up your relationship, too? 20:10
Myst struggles to keep herself from glaring at the guard 20:11
Myst: You shouldn't have come in here... You'll get in trouble with Fury... 20:11
Bruce Banner: -shrugs- Oh, he'd find a way of sticking me in a cage one way or another... I'm just speeding up the process. 20:12
Bruce Banner: -kisses her temple- This is NOT your fault. If anyone screwed up, it's me and Loki...
Bruce Banner goes to the hospital to visit Loki 11:18
Loki lies asleep on one of the beds, wearing nothing but a pair of boxer shorts. Bruises litter his skin, darkening and a few cuts are present, as well as his left leg in a cast 11:20
Bruce Banner: -sits down in a chair beside his bed, holding back tears- 11:21
Loki: -wakes up, looking around and seeing Bruce, before groaning in pain- 11:22
Bruce Banner: -crosses his arms... flatly- You jumped off the roof. 11:23
Loki: Yes....and I started smoking again....-looks down to the floor, doing his best to hold back tears- 11:24
Bruce Banner: Why? 11:24
Loki: I...I let Raven join the Superiors....I don't know where my mind went...I wanted a distraction...it turned out worse than I expected... 11:25
Bruce Banner: -pales- What? 11:26
Bruce Banner: You let our daughter do WHAT?! 11:26
Loki: I...I tried to stop her....Bruce, I did.... 11:27
Loki his breathing quickens, increasing his heart rate which he can hear on the machine wired into him 11:27
Bruce Banner: -moans and slumps in his chair- But... wh-why would she do that? 11:28
Loki: Her....her daughter....there's no other choice, where she'd be safe....we argued about it, thinking of many different ones but, she was determined....and I let her win... 11:29
Bruce Banner: -buries his face in his hands- 11:30
Loki: -raises his hand to run over his face, unable to hide tears- Bruce, please. You've got to know, I don't want her with them. I...I really don't... 11:30
Loki: So I went to the roof after, and drank. Natasha found me. We talked for a while, before...I jumped... 11:31
Bruce Banner: Why did you jump though? 11:31
Loki: On a roof, needing a distraction, and feeling guilty as hel. It was the only thing I could think of... 11:32
Bruce Banner: So you just DID IT?! Y-you just flung yourself off the top of Stark Tower, without even thinking about it?! You could have DIED! You should be dead right now! 11:33
Bruce Banner: Loki, how could you just not think about something like that? 11:34
Loki: -winces at his words, looking down at his hands without an answer- 11:34
Bruce Banner: -quietly- Did it even cross your mind what would happen if you'd killed yourself? 11:36
Loki: -nods- A few times... 11:36
Bruce Banner: But you still jumped.... y-you thought of everything and everyone you'd be leaving behind... a-and you still jumped? 11:37

Loki: I'm a god. I survived the Hulk...I couldn't have...it never would have killed me. I just...I felt like I fucked up. I lost control.... 11:56

Loki: -rolls onto his side, sighing- So what now? Our daughter's joining a group of killers and you won't even talk to me... 11:58
Bruce Banner: I'm not talking to you, because you've clearly lost all your common sense. -holding back tears- If you don't care enough about your family enough to stop yourself from jumping off a building, then why should you care whether or not we're on speaking terms? If you'd died, we still wouldn't be speaking, so what difference does it make? 12:01
Loki: Of course I care! And if it wasn't for you, Bruce, I would've killed myself a long time ago...I wasn't going to die, Bruce. Never. I couldn't have left you alone. I wasn't going in to die. I could heal, but...it was higher than I thought. Please, Bruce. I...I need you... 12:04
Loki: -crying, leans back into his pillow and tries to hide it- 12:05
Bruce Banner: Yeah. Okay Loki. -walks away- 12:08
Loki: -in a quiet voice- Please....I'll never....ever....try anything like this.... 12:08
Bruce Banner: -turns and gives him a solemn look- That's exactly what you said to me the last time. 12:09
Loki: I promise. Right now. And you remember what we said...no lying to each other. Please, Bruce. You are the most forgiving man I know. P-Please, give me another chance... 12:10
Loki: -can feel the morphine beginning to wear off, and starts crying, the pain taking over his body and knocking him unconscious- 12:11

Natasha walks up to the roof, then proceeds to see Loki sitting on the ledge. 19:20
Natasha: Hey, Loki. 19:20
Loki: -dangles his feet from ledge, taking a final swig before letting the glass smash on the floor- 19:20
Natasha: Are you alright? 19:20
Loki: Go away, Romanoff. I've messed up again... 19:20
Natasha: Okay, you've never told me to leave. What's going on with you now? 19:21
Natasha: I'm gonna tell you now - I'm not leaving. 19:21
Loki: -unable to take his eyes off the people below- Raven's....joining the Superiors. And...I-I let her.... 19:22
Natasha: Wait...so she's back then? I knew that she wasn't gone for good. 19:24
Natasha: But that's beside the point. 19:24
Mystique unbeknownst to Loki or Natasha, a camera on the roof zooms slightly in, the microphone turning on to capture sound and video 19:24
Natasha: Why is she doing that? 19:24
Loki: I've....I've fucked up pretty badly -goes back to smoking- 19:25
Natasha: -takes a seat next to him- And how did you manage that this time? 19:25
Loki: -frowns, before looking around- The roof...isn't safe to talk... 19:26
Natasha: You're right. 19:27
Loki: -sighs- I...I just let her win. She'll be joining them. We....we have to work against my daughter... 19:28
Loki: -decides he can't see any cameras, and leans back- 19:28
Natasha: -raises an eyebrow before looking around, then back at him- Well sometimes you can't control that. 19:28
Loki: Have you ever felt like jumping, Natasha? -pauses- 19:29
Natasha: Like...off this building? 19:29
Loki: -nods- Or any building in general. 19:30
Natasha: -locks her eyes on the ground below- It wouldn't do any good. 19:31
Loki: A distraction, though.
Natasha: From what exactly?
Natasha: All this? -waves her hands around-
Loki: Everything. Raven, Odin, Superiors...
Natasha: That's not a choice. Jumping off of a roof is definitely not a choice. 19:34
Loki: -shuffles slightly closer to the ledge- A-And I can heal....it can be a choice....
Natasha: I'm not going to let you do it. 19:35
Loki: -slowly stands up- 19:36
Loki: Please... 19:36
Natasha: -looks up at him standing before standing up herself- I'm not letting you do this. 19:37
Loki: I can heal, it'll be okay...
Natasha: It doesn't matter, Loki.
Natasha: If you do this, it'll only let you think you can hurt yourself more for distractions.
Natasha: Don't you remember what happened you turned to hurting yourself as a distraction?
Loki: This...I need to do this -takes in a deep breath, before stretching his arms out and jumping. He feels the sensation of flying for a few seconds, before landing witb a sickening crunch to the floor- 19:39
Loki: -groans and falls unconscious, limbs twisted at strange angles-
Natasha: No! -reaches out to grab him but ends up falling over as well-
Loki: -wakes, letting out a cry of pain as he sees a small pool of blood forming from underneath him-
Natasha lies unconscious on the ground 19:46
Loki: Natasha...-crawls over to her, wincing with every move, before raising a bloody hand to her forehead-
Loki: Natasha, wake up. Please...
Loki: N-Natasha...
Loki: -lets out another muffled cry of pain as his legs give way, falling on the floor next to Natasha-
