how was the group before the reboot?

//We've had two, I think. Before this past one, it was a bit messy and stressful as now, but still different. I had time for things then. Before the other reboots I think we had different admins. I can't remember because it was November of last year. The group was really really fun in the beginning, though.

Why be sorry for saying something if you feel strongly about it? Poor way to have gone about it, sure, but don't be sorry for expressing a feeling.

Important OOC Post

So I guess I should make this text post now before I get kicked out of the group (If I already haven't been, that is). The reason why I haven't been posting is because I have so much on my plate. I had been to camp and then on vacation, and therefore did not feel like posting/could not post. On the other hand, I have been working. I have three AP classes in the fall that I have summer homework for and I am worrying about that enough. I haven't even taken my SATs yet or started thinking about touring colleges. Being in this group has been great, believe me, but I seriously can't focus on something when I have so much else to worry about.

That's not all though - and here is where you guys are gonna lose me. I really don't favor all that's been going on around here. Now, mind me, I haven't been around for roughly two weeks, but still. I've always been one for speaking my mind, so take this however you want it. I am not that in favor of everyone favoring a select three, maybe four, people in the RP at a time. (I'm not talking about certain people, I promise.) It's really unfair to others when you go into the ooc blog and there's everyone always talking about this plot for this character. Yeah, I get it. Everything being centered around one person is cool for a while, but it gets tiring when you have no part in it. Now, I haven't been one on activity as of late, but seriously, we could all try better to include everyone. Last time I checked, a group RP is a group RP, not a four person RP with the plot centered around those four people and very hard to catch up on. Not to mention that when you ask nicely a few times to be caught up, you sometimes don't even get that. We have like what, 30 people? And having been with this group from the very start, I have seen the good sides of it. (And there are only maybe three of us originals left). Another thing I've witnessed quite often is others being ignored. It's not that fun to have this plot all thought up in your head and it's only ignored/shot down because it doesn't have to do with the main plot. And I'm not just coming to my defense, but other people's as well. I usually don't post much because, yes - I will get replies, but no - there's no plot to them so they just get dropped after a few back and forths.

This is why I believe I am leaving the group. I don't want to let go of Natasha; she is my baby, but under these conditions and many other problems that I have, I have to leave. I can't stick around to see this group go downhill because of these things. I'm sorry but ever since the reboot everything's changed and I don't like it. I think the idea of getting more characters was great, but getting rid of the things that let us have fun was just unnecessary. Just the little decisions have made a few others and I upset and this is why I've chosen to leave. Now, I don't know what they'll do, but I'm sticking to my gut on this. I'd love to stick around for the Vegas AU, but I'm sure my presence is not wanted after this post. I wish you all the best.

HORSE!

((I KNEW someone was going to send me this one!! I'm just going to set this as if they've been friends for a while because that's all I can think of :) ))

Saturday evenings called for board games in the house. Natasha and Shae were deep into a rousing game of Monopoly. Shae had been winning so far with the most money and most property bought. Each time Natasha hit past the GO spot on the board and landed, she would have to fork up a hefty fine for the space. It was rather agitating.

"Alright, I give up. I hate this game." Natasha exclaimed tossing the colored paper money in the air and throwing her head back on the couch. Shae laughed and did a little victory clap.

"And what shall we mark that as? The twentieth time I've beaten you tonight in every game we've played?" Shae said. "Let's see. There was Sorry, then UNO, then..." Natasha trailed off as she watched Shae list off the rest of the games on her fingers. It wasn't soon before long that she had a slight epiphany.

"Board games may be your specialty, but I know exactly what I can beat you in." Natasha smirked and jumped off of the couch instantly. "Follow me," She lead Shae down to the shooting range located below the ground-level of the home. There were dividers that separated each section of the range and pairs of ear protection hung on the dividers. She handed a pair to Shae, and a pair to herself.

“Are you possibly familiar with the game of horse? Typically played with basketball?” Shae nodded and Natasha continued. “We’re going to play that, but with pistols and targets. What we’ll do is one of us will make a shot, then the other of us will shoot to hit the same spot. Sound good?” She motioned for Shae to place the muffs on her head, and did so herself.

Hours passed and Shae was in the lead, but not by much. For the past few rounds, they had been neck in neck. Regardless, they both added up enough horses to make a calvary. Natasha removed her muffs and laughed. “Stiff competition apparently,”

“I know,” Shae said, also removing hers. “I think that’s enough for today,” She looked up at the clock, it was already twelve. They made their way to the staircase. “Thanks for letting me kick your ass today,” Shae continued as they went up to ground level.

“Shut up.”
