Whatever I said or felt about this book initially, I take it all back. • I went looking for new reading material because I was bored with my usual, and I picked this up because it looked interesting and something out of the ordinary. As I began reading, I started expecting a lame take on the "Mistaken Identity" trope. I was also miffed beacuse I felt that the author didn't differentiate enough between the POV's personalities, although I'm starting to think that's purposeful. • I love being mistaken. • This book is not at all what it seems, and it never gives you anything to really hold on to, right up until the end. The narrative is first person and switching between two characthers telling their two very different sides of the same story, which keeps the reader on their toes throughout.
