Godbox AU: Possession
Rings quietly messed around with the light at the end of her tail, not paying attention to the sounds of screams coming from Eggdog's general direction as he hunted for prey.
After giving up on trying to figure up how it worked, she hung from the steady branch of the tree, crossing her arms over herself before she realized someone was in front of her.
"Oh, Godbox!" She yelped, falling from the branch. She grunted as she hit the ground, brushing herself off before staring down at Three. "Hey, Three. What the hell are you doing in the woods?"
Three scoffed, obviously irritated with something. "Well, Four decided it would be funny to use his shape-shifting powers again and scare me." He shook his head, earning a sigh of empathy coming from Rings.
"Ugh, I know Four's shenanigans intimately. Swear he clings to me and uses me as some type of conversation shield around the others. He's literally always behind me, just kinda... looking at me." She shuddered, shaking her head.
"He probably thinks because you're like the old him and connect to the others. If you're the voice and personality, they'll be friends with him again." He looked down at his claws, sharpening them against each other. Rings nodded in agreement, her ring light tail casting a light over the two of them.
"Say... you know I can possess people, right?" Three began, causing Rings to perk up. Her face morphed into realization and remembering when he stated he could do so.
"I do remember that. You got an idea?"
"Mhm. We both know you have more free will than the rest of us. Why don't we both make a deal and scare the shit out of Four instead? He has a tendency to forget you're so quiet." He grinned smugly, his ruby fangs glinting in the light.
Rings pursed her lips together, deep in thought. She was bored, and it sounded fun to make Four shriek, especially when it was with Three.
"I don't see why not."
