I wasn't really specific and yeah me too! I always thought phone guy was different from purple guy. But how is purple guy bite kid's dad?
Well for starters, the Mangle, or at least a pink Foxy head and an endoskeleton, is in the house, even though by this point the Toys shouldn’t be animatronics yet. I don’t see how anybody could get their hands on equipment like that unless they worked there, which Purple Guy does as we see in an easter egg.
Second, the crying child obviously hates it there. At this point I’m assuming it’s still Fredbear’s Family diner. So why does he keep going there? Because he’s forced to. In one of the minigames between nights, the kid is trapped in a storage closet which should only be for employees only. It kinda seems like a bring-your-kid-to-work thing, either because he’s cruel, neglectful, too cheap to pay for a baby sitter, or all of the above.
Granted this is all circumstantial, but that’s my theory. It’s better than Phone Guy being the killer anyway :/
While we’re on the subject of Phone Guy tho, I also have a theory that the brother is Phone Guy. His obvious love of the place, plus the fact that he’s the one with the Foxy head. We know it was him that apologized to his brother at the end of the game because of the gray text. Maybe he went onto trying to make sure the Bite of ‘87 never happened again? Who knows? Scott’s just a giant troll :I
