What do you hope to achieve through this blog? Like, in all seriousness. Are you hoping to reach out to Ray and try to change him? Get him to apologize? Change the fans' minds? Because it's not going to happen. If he tells Gavin to go kill himself because he made a horrible pun, it's a joke. They're comfortable enough friends to say that to each other. Do you think he really means it? You think he wouldn't be upset if one of his friends did that? You're out of your mind.

so i’ll go by and do this by bullet points since it’s easier for me to do so but anyway
the general “gamers will be gamers”/”boys will be boys” argument - you’re excusing the constant attack that people are getting from ray when he makes fun of the tumblr community for being angry over something or upset over something and excusing his actions because “everyone else does it.” the difference here is that A) South Park is satirical and you probably should have caught onto that by now, B) Family Guy is already fucking problematic and there’s many a posts calling it out somewhere on the internet, and C) Eminem is also satirical but I honestly can’t have an opinion because I’ve never listened to his music. apparently victim blaming is okay to you???
"people who get triggered should know better" + "when they decide to watch free fucking content that they provide" - okay so, here’s the thing. Sometimes - and much is the case when people get into a new thing (like i did and many others); we don’t know what we’re getting into. Of course there’s the whole “they’re a gaming company what do you expect” but basically you’re blaming the triggered person for getting triggered here and also saying that roosterteeth and achievement hunter provide offensive content. and yes, like ive said in the past, some of it isn’t offensive. you are doing the exact same thing that rape apologists do; “oh yeah well it’s their fault for being triggered by something they didn’t know was going to be in a video”. “Strong Language” content warnings on the beginning of AH’s videos dont excuse the use of rape jokes, transphobic jokes, and abelist jokes, it just doesn’t. it’s a general statement and oh my god when have people not ever used strong language? most people think of words like “fuck” and “shit” and “Goddamn/damn” etc etc when they think of strong language, not “ahaha ha ha ha ha go kill yourself” (watch the early minecraft videos), “ahah ah aha ha LRH (lady rape house) (also from minecraft) etc etc.
It’s funny because I haven’t. I’ve never used the word “gay” to describe something idiotic or, in any case “stupid”. I’ve never used the word r*tarded either (one of my closests cousins, who sadly passed away when i was about ten was born with Down Syndrome so I learned from a very, very early age never to use that word, kthanks), and I’ve never not once ever said i “hit like a girl” (have called myself a weak ass baby though, because i am). I’ve also never played house before because I’ve never had guy friends???? I mean I have but later on in life. I was a “play in the mud and ask for five pounds of dirt” for my birthday kinda person. It’s truly upsetting that you’ve done all the things Ray has - and in my opinion and a lot of others, that kind of makes you a fucking dick.
"gang up on one person" + more "hes just like everyone else" bullshit - I’ve never met such a rude person in my life like ray, and i don’t even know him (which brings up the ‘YOU DONT KNOW HIM’ argument, which i’d get into but i wont bc its a waste of time). I’m one fucking person running this blog. there isnt twelve hundred people here, its one v one over here, plus some supporters and some people that dont like this blog. there’s a difference between hating someone and being angry over the things they’ve done; I don’t hate ray, i could never hate ray because he is supportive of some of his fans (as long as they dont speak out against his actions), his humor can be okay at times (take my wheel of fortune post as an example, i truly liked that video!), and he can be a good person at times. But that doesnt mean the good outweighs the bad, ever. sure he’s going to be nice meeting fans at cons; he’s paid to do that as well as make videos on the internet for everyone else’s enjoyment. there have been multiple people who are terrified to meet him bc they’re afraid he’ll make fun of them and its for good reason. for you to openly support someone who is more bad than good isnt my place, since i know with your mindset of “hes just like me we’re both horrible people so therefore he cant be a bad person bc hes jus tlike everyone else (except literally not everyone in the world is a horrible person who makes rape jokes and ableist jokes and problematic jokes without thinking about it, especially here on tumblr)” i’ll never get through and i never planned to
have fun with ur shitty “haha h ah ah ah ha i make fun of oppressed people because to me, since im a privileged person, it doesnt effect me at all and i can do it freely because half the world agrees with me!” argument bc i truly dont want this piece of trash in my inbox again.
come back when you have a better, stronger argument because yours is weak as fuck.
