My damn care provider for hrt doesn’t cover my insurance anymore… they did yesterday but not today. I literally just booked the appointment yesterday to start transitioning. I just want my boy medicine is that so hard to ask
Depending on your state, that might actually be illegal for them to pull benefits like that on you so quickly. Transitioning medically is (usually) no longer considered to be cosmetic (and therefore “superfluous” in the eyes of your insurance).
I would recommend getting into contact with your insurance provider as soon as possible. Remember that they are here to serve you, not the other way around. It’s time to start getting really annoying really, really quickly.
