I can post my piece for the @kurobasfanzine!  I had the great privilege to collaborate with @umisabaku.  It was a great experience end to end, and I hope I can work with her again in the future!  Her fic, as small as a world, is up on AO3. Thanks also to the mods for putting together such a clean, well designed zine, and keeping organization so tight!

Come Back Home by @angel-shindo

Todo/Deku - Rated M

After a nasty villain fight on his first official patrol, Todoroki is left stuck in a coma with little hope of coming out of it. Izuku sits at his bedside day after day with a smile that never falters as Todoroki has to choose whether he wants to return to a world with Izuku, a world where his past follows him and every day has the chance to end in pain. Or to stay in his head with his mother, reliving his happiest moments over and over in a world where nothing can hurt him.

There’s no new chapter this week since @ladyhoneydarlinglove‘s Come On Play Me Something moved to an every-two-weeks update schedule, so I figured I’d post some art I made that wasn’t really an illustration thing but more of a “vaguely inspired by” thing I made when I first got wind of what I was working on.  

This was made before I really decided how I wanted to draw izuku and shouto, and I hadn’t decided on the style I wanted to use for the rest of my COPMS art yet.  

They have pretty different face shapes from what I do now, and I hadn’t figured out how I wanted to draw izuku’s hand scars either.  (for the record, I wound up using some images from the Dr. Strange movie for inspiration on that front, and tried to incorporate some of his canon scarring?  Not sure how successful I was overall, but I picked something and stuck with it at some point lol, which is I guess what’s important).

I’ve got a lot of reject art and process stuff I’ve made for this fic, so I’m planning to continue posting in off weeks :)
