Day 3: The Moirai This was super fun! I ended up really liking the concept of the drawing and I actually managed to get the idea in my head as accurately as possible. So, the Moirai is supposed to be the 3 Goddesses of fate. Klotho “The spinner” who spun the thread of life, Lakhesis “The Apportioner of lots” the one who meassures, and Athropos (or Aisa) “She who cannot be turned” who cut it short. They are meant to signify life itself, as Klotho who spins the life of man and Lakhesis who measured his time and Lakhesis is the one who measured how long he was gonna live and Athropos who cut it when it was his time. They didn’t interfere with human lives, they just watched and saw how it went. It was Zeus Moiragetes (the leader of the moirai) who had the power to seize their fate.
