Hans rubbed his face tired from another long day- every inch of him ached. Nothing seemed more appealing than the soft down of a silken quilt and a plush mattress, but the bed that his body was going to meet with possessed none of these qualities. He flexed his back once attempting to rid the grip of his muscles with no luck.
Under a few of the doors he saw light spilling into the hall. As he passed he heard Anna's giggles and the voice deep voice of a visitor protruding from her chamber. From another he heart Olaf running about then falling and chuckling a innocent laugh. But the only one that held any intrigue to him was the last- with the purest light and a chill creeping from underneath.
The door was opened just a crack and he couldn’t help but stop at it and peek inside. He placed his bare freshly callused hand on the door frame taking in a deep sigh catching a glimpse of the frosted world inside. He couldn’t actually see her from the small crack but he knew she was inside pacing about or readying herself for sleep.
Releasing another remorse filled sigh he rest his head on the frame not noticing that he had accidentally knocked the door to Elsa’s chamber open.
