God, i can't believe i wrote those like, over 4 years ago. Closer to 6 maybe, now that i think about it? But man, they needed an update, regardless.

Most notable changes:

I know its been months since I last updated a chapter on any of my fics...but I think for my next one I'll have it set deep into the future.

I think im ready to try to write about Cross passing away because my mother passed away without warning 3 weeks ago. The funny thing is it was Friday the 13th lol, she had a sense of humor so maybe it was meant to be.

I always thought about writing such a chapter but I was always uncomfortable about it because I didnt want to imagine what it would be like when my go to person passed. Well, now I know what that feels like...and I plan on giving Allen a much better time with it than I did. As well as a lot more support than I ever did.

My mother loved my writing and encouraged it...and I think its time I get back into it and start writing some original stories to. I love you mom, and I hope when I write Cross next time I can show a bit of the love you gave me, into him. ❤️

What are the GSNs on Earth for? Is it a specific purpose or are they just here to just have a good time?

I’m just a transient human-element manifestation, sojourning here for personal entertainment... which is just a fancy way of saying I’m a self-insert, and my presence shouldn’t be taken too seriously. I’m best treated as a background character with extradimensional insight, but limited* narrative impact. The others are... wardens, of a sort, here to remind me that my real priorities lie elsewhere.

I’ve enjoyed my initial time here, but I’m not sure how much longer I can remain in this world... There is not enough energy of the right wavelengths here to provide an Abyssal Outsider like myself the necessary framework for keeping this cobbled facade together. Even now, it is a struggle to keep the seams from failing completely. It hurts.

But moreover, if I stay long enough for this shell to be fully compromised, the harm that might come to others is far more terrible.

Unless some sort of miracle happens, some infusion of sufficient positive energy capable of reinforcing what's left and possibly even fixing the damage - who knows what that could be - I’m pretty much only staying until another world calls...
