(( Greetings! :-D I don’t mind at all! ^_^ I was actually trying to think of something to send you! But, I admit, I was a bit worried about possibly bothering you… lol Thanks! :-D ))
(( Child Verse (if you wish to change it we certainly can lol ) ))
Anita couldn’t help but be a bit surprised by the voice that spoke up behind her. She recognized it well enough of course-Anita had just thought that she was alone up here in the tower… though she was certainly pleased that it was The Demon Lord and not someone else…
“I…” for a moment she began to answer, before falling silent, glancing outside the open window once more. She hesitated… he already knew she was upset (he always seemed to know somehow) so there was no point in trying to fool him otherwise. Still… she was a bit reluctant in revealing the reason why…
She shouldn’t even be thinking of such things! Master wouldn’t be pleased by such thoughts… and she didn’t want to risk getting Ghirahim in trouble…
Still, she needed to give him an answer… she couldn’t just stand here being silent any longer; he might start to suspect something…
“I… I was looking at the lights…” the child confessed meekly, pointing out the window towards the village in the distance, the place looking quite small from the height of the tower, yet its lights still shined bright.
(( Hope this is alright! ^_^ ))
Vague ideas had occupied the demon sword’s mind as of late whenever he would be around Anita. He was torn between whether such wild ideas were actual or not. He knew that Demise could be cruel, but he didn’t like to think that he could actually stoop that low. He had taken to acting as a personal sort of accompaniment to the girl even when Demise wasn’t ordering him to retrieve her for whatever amusement he had cooked up.
He had watched her ascend the tower after getting past the door in the corridor that was usually under high security. It seemed she had memorized the schedule of when the moblins who acted as guards would leave. He had ascended the tower after her by the spiral stone steps that wound all the way until a cool air could be felt. A draft from the window as the steps ended into what used to be an observatory of some kind.
Even without her necessarily telling him the truth he could tell it was another reason than just wanting to look at the lights of the village. He however was putting on a visage that he knew nothing. “It’s a very lovely sight, wouldn’t you agree?” With quiet steps on the stone floor he walked over behind the young girl and looked out the windows. The village did indeed have a lot of lights from this distance. “They’re like stars.” He noted, and then chortled a bit. He did like the company he had with the young princess from time to time, because it felt natural, and not forced- unlike what he had with the other guards and demons who took up residence in Demise’s castle.
