A Chat Between a Lecturer and His Student
Lecturer : God doesn't exist!
Student : Why do you believe that God doesn't exist?
Lecturer : If God does exist, there will be no crimes nor evils.
Student : Well than, so if God doesn't exist, there will be crimes and evils?
Lecturer : Yes, like things happen now.
Student : Than, if you think that way, you must agree with this statement: 'there is no darkness'.
Lecturer : What the hell are you talking about? What about the cave? Or, when a blackout strikes your house? There is darkness, you know it, I know it, we all know it.
Student : That is wrong! Darkness is a condition where there is no light, and even in the darkest place, there must be a glance of light. Even in the space.
Student : My next statement is: 'cold doesn't exist'.
Lecturer : That is the most irrelevant statement I have ever heard! Do you have a refrigerator in your house? Have you ever tried to feel how it breezes? That is cold. Cold does exist. You must have proven it once if you have never.
Student : Your statement is totally wrong! There is no cold in physics, it's the same case as darkness. There is no cold, there is heat. There is no darkness, there is light.
The lecturer silences once again.
Student : So in this case, 'THERE IS NO CRIMES NOR EVILS' because crimes and evils are both conditions that have NO goodness. Now, can you tell that this world got no goodness at all?
The lecturer does not reply.
Student : And that concludes that 'God does exist', precisely same as what you have said.
