hi there!!! so basically ive got a derm appointment on christmas eve (i took the first one i could get im desperate haha) and basically im hoping to be put on roaccutane. What happens during the appointment? Also just wondering whats your skin care routine right now???
Well at mine the doctor basically asked me about the past tablets I’d been on, asked about whether on the day he saw it it was at its best or worse or whatever. I had to show him everywhere that I’ve had acne, even though it’s not there anymore, so he could see the scarring, then I had to go pee in a pot for a pregnancy test (but you're a guy, so N/A) and they gave me the prescription, but I wasn’t allowed to get the tablets until I had done a blood test at my GP surgery and that’s about it. I’m a bit unsure about using any products on my skin so last thing at night I take my make up off with simple facewipes and then use one of those vibrating cleanser things, that way I’m cleansing without using harsh chemicals. I’m moisturising 4 times a day and using shit loads of lip balm.
