"THE VANISHING“

The God of the universe will come back to take his people to be with him. Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven. (Acts 1:11)

The Church which is the body of Christ will be raptured. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. (1Thessalonians 4:16-17)

He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. (Mark 16:16)...Men and brethren, what shall we do? Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. (Acts 2:37-38)

Go back to how your love was passionate at first before it dulled out. Obey God's Word. Repent, meaning change direction. That means changing your behavior! Apologizing isn’t enough! CHANGE! God then warns in the letter that if the Sardis church doesn’t change, He’ll come like a thief in the night. There’s not gonna be a giant countdown clock in the sky counting down to God’s return. There won’t be any warning at all. He’s going to come & if you’re still indulging in sinful behavior, you’re going to look like a big fool. Many ppl live in sin thinking “oh, I’ll get saved later,” but that’s how the devil tricks you. Because once you think “later” that “later” becomes almost always a “never”. I implore you brethren. Take the Sardis letter to heart. Reflect on your actions. Are they making a difference? Are they promoting Jesus to the world? If not, CHANGE! It’s never too late to! Once your actions line up with God’s Word, you can be at peace, knowing that when God returns or you pass on, you won’t have to worry about if you’re right with God.
