“I will comfort you and turn your mourning into joy, your sorrow into gladness...”

Jeremiah 31:13

"Then the young women will dance and be happy, and men, young and old, will rejoice. I will comfort them and turn their mourning into joy, their sorrow into gladness." (GNT)

“Young women and young men, together with the elderly, will celebrate and dance, because I will comfort them and turn their sorrow into happiness.” (CEV)

This is what God can do for you! Everything we read in the Bible we can apply to ourselves, because God is “no respecter of persons” (Acts 10:34-35) So, when The Word says that God can turn mourning to joy and sorrow to gladness for the people of Israel, He can do the same for us! Friend, are you suffering under a burden of sorrow, a burden of mourning? Go to the source of joy: God. Go to the Greatest Intercessor, Jesus Christ, (Romans 8:34) who has a love for us that nothing can separate us from (Romans 8:39) 

PRAYER: Lord, thank You, that You always seek to take away our sorrows and burdens and replace them with joy! You want so much to share Your love with us. Your Word says that You want to make our lives like “a lush, well-watered garden. that we will “feast on Your goodness”! (Jeremiah 31:12-14) You want to see us dancing with joy! I pray that whoever is reading this will feel Your joy and Your love, which nothing can ever separate us from! In Jesus’ name, Amen. 🙏
