“Raising my hands is not a performance.
It is surrender.
It is dependence.
It is my heart saying, "Father, I need You."
The Bible says,
Lift up your hands in the sanctuary and praise the Lord. Psalm 134:2
Just as a child instinctively reaches for their father, I lift my hands because I know where my help comes from.
Sometimes I have no words.
Sometimes all I can do is worship.
And in those moments, my raised hands become a declaration that I trust Him, even when I don't understand.
Worship is not about a posture of the body.
It is about the posture of the heart.
But for me, raising my hands is a simple reminder...
I am His child.
And I know my Father will never let me go. ❤️🔥”

“But I trust in Your unfailing love. I will rejoice because You have rescued me.” — Psalm 13:5 (NLT)
Have you ever stopped to think about the fact that children’s nursery rhymes are a little bizarre? Take, for instance, the depressing tale of Humpty Dumpty.
Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall,
Humpty Dumpty had a great fall.
All the king’s horses and all the king’s men,
Couldn’t put Humpty together again.
While I wonder about the wisdom of entertaining little kids with such a grim tale, I have to admit that I am a little confused as to why an egg would ever sit on a wall in the first place! And what exactly would we expect the horses to do about it? So, why are we pinning our hopes on them? A great bumper sticker expresses the convictions of a conspiracy theorist, stating, “Humpty Dumpty was pushed!”
But, as silly as all of that is, we have to admit that there are days when you and I feel a lot like Humpty Dumpty. The broken pieces of life seem hopelessly shattered, and for the life of us we don’t have a clue about how to put them back together again.
So, what do we do when life has us in pieces at the bottom of the wall? Read and embrace the truth of Psalm 13: 1-6!
When your life is splattered at the bottom of the wall, turn your heart to Him and you will see afresh that we have a King who knows how to put broken lives back together again. With the assurance of God’s unfailing love for us, regardless of our circumstances, we can rest assured that He ultimately will do for us what no one could do for poor Humpty Dumpty.

Colossians 1:15-20. [15] “He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. [16] For by him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things were created through him and for him. [17] And he is before all things, and in him all things hold together. [18] And he is the head of the body, the church. He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in everything he might be preeminent. [19] For in him all the fullness of God was pleased to dwell, [20] and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether on earth or in heaven, making peace by the blood of his cross.” (ESV)

Original quote from: “Faith-Avenue” (Tumblr)
“Lord, I am saved by grace, rescued not because I earned it but because You gave it, delivered not by my goodness but by Your mercy freely extended.
I contributed nothing to my salvation except the sin that made it necessary, rescue was entirely Your doing, Your initiative, Your gift that I could never deserve.
Teach me to live like someone who's been saved by grace, with humility that knows I didn't earn this, gratitude that overflows because it was free, security that comes from grace I can't lose.
I am saved, the work is complete, not in progress or dependent on my future performance, accomplished at the cross and applied to me by grace alone.
Help me stop trying to add to what grace has already finished, stop performing to maintain what was freely given, stop living like my salvation depends on me when it depended entirely on You.
Remind me that grace being free doesn't make it cheap, that my salvation cost Jesus everything even though it cost me nothing, that unearned doesn't mean unimportant.
Give me freedom that comes from being saved by grace, not by works, living without the pressure of earning what I already have, resting in completed salvation.
Let me walk today as someone who is saved by grace, secure in what You've done, grateful for mercy I didn't deserve, changed by love that rescued me freely. In Jesus' name, Amen.”

“Dorcas, also called Tabitha, was not known for preaching sermons or leading armies.
She became known for something many people overlook.
She consistently did good and cared for those in need.
She made clothes for widows.
She served quietly.
She loved generously.
At first glance, her life may have seemed ordinary.
But heaven saw it differently.
Now there was in Joppa a disciple named Tabitha... She was always doing good and helping the poor. Acts 9:36
When Dorcas died, the widows gathered around Peter, weeping and showing him the robes and garments she had made for them while she was still with them. Acts 9:39
Notice what they remembered.
Not her wealth.
Not her popularity.
Not her influence.
They remembered how she made them feel.
They remembered her kindness.
Her love left evidence.
Peter prayed, and by the power of God, Dorcas was raised back to life. Acts 9:40–41
Dorcas reminds us that ministry is not measured by how many people know your name.
It is measured by how many people experience the love of Christ because of your life.
You may never stand on a stage.
You may never have thousands of followers.
But every act of kindness done in Jesus' name matters.
Sometimes the greatest sermons are not spoken.
They are lived.
Live in such a way that when people remember you, they remember the love of Jesus they experienced through you.”❤️🔥

I've been thinking something along the lines of this post recently.
Each one of us is precious to God, and not because of how famous we are, or how much money we have. The Bible tells us that God doesn't see people the way humans do; He looks at the heart (1 Samuel 16:7).
We are precious because of who we are, and how we treat others. Jesus “went about doing good” (Acts 10:38). He healed people, showing kindness, compassion, and mercy to those He met. He washed feet, which was a necessity in a dusty country where people wore sandals, and it was the job of the lowest servants. Jesus shows us the example of what we should do. The whole of the New Testament is about love: loving God and loving others.
Micah 6:8: “He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?” (ESV)
This is something I've been thinking more and more as I get older. Friends, once we're gone, people we knew won't cherish our memories for how rich or famous we were but, like Dorcas, for the little acts of kindness we did. Amen. 🙏
Bibleverse of the day!
Luke 19:1-10. [1] “He entered and was passing through Jericho. [2] There was a man named Zacchaeus. He was a chief tax collector, and he was rich. [3] He was trying to see who Jesus was, and couldn’t because of the crowd, because he was short. [4] He ran on ahead and climbed up into a sycamore tree to see him, for he was going to pass that way.
[5] When Jesus came to the place, he looked up and saw him, and said to him, “Zacchaeus, hurry and come down, for today I must stay at your house.” [6] He hurried, came down, and received him joyfully. [7] When they saw it, they all murmured, saying, “He has gone in to lodge with a man who is a sinner.”
[8] Zacchaeus stood and said to the Lord, “Behold, Lord, half of my goods I give to the poor. If I have wrongfully exacted anything of anyone, I restore four times as much.”
[9] Jesus said to him, “Today, salvation has come to this house, because he also is a son of Abraham. [10] For the Son of Man came to seek and to save that which was lost.” (WEB)
This is one of my favorite Bible passages. When I read this I see:
- God sees you, even if you think no-one else can see you. He knows exactly where you are at all times
- God can use you, if you're willing; you don't need to be qualified
- God uses sinners, because He is merciful and full of grace and He loves us
- God sees your heart, even if everyone around you thinks you aren't good enough (like with David)
- When you are saved, salvation comes to your house
- God sent Jesus to seek and save the lost, because He wants to save EVERYONE (2 Peter 3:9)
- God is good, all the time!
- Thank You, Lord for seeking and saving the lost 🙏
Amen and Hallelujah! 🙏🕊️🙌

“Lord, You don't call the equipped, You the called, which means my inadequacy isn't disqualifying but exactly the point, the starting place for Your power to work.
I look at what You're calling me to and immediately list my deficiencies, all the skills I lack, experience I don't have, qualifications I'm missing, forgetting You don't need those.
Teach me that being equipped comes after being called, not before, that You don't wait for me to be ready and then call, You call and then make me ready.
You specialize in calling unlikely people, the unqualified, the unprepared, the ones who know they can't do it, because then everyone knows it's Your power, not theirs.
Help me stop using my lack of qualifications as an excuse to decline Your calling, to say yes first and trust You'll provide what I need as I obey.
Remind me that every hero of faith felt unqualified, Moses stuttered, Gideon hid, David was youngest, but You equipped them for exactly what You called them to do.
Give me courage to accept Your calling even when I feel completely unprepared, trusting that You never call without equipping, never send without providing what's needed.
Let me step into what You're calling me to today, knowing that God doesn't call the equipped, He equips the called, and I am called. In Jesus' name, Amen.”

James 5:16 (ESV): “Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working.”
Philippians 4:6–7 (ESV): “Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”
Matthew 21:21-22. “[21] Jesus answered them, “Most certainly I tell you, if you have faith and don’t doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but even if you told this mountain, ‘Be taken up and cast into the sea,’ it would be done. [22] All things, whatever you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive.” (WEB)
“I Will Carry You
When your strength is gone, Mine is not.
When the road is too heavy to walk, I will carry you.
When your heart is weary, rest in My presence.
You are not forgotten.
You are not abandoned.
You are not walking through this alone.
The same hands that formed you will sustain you.
The same Savior who calmed the storm will steady your soul.
Trust Me with every burden.
Lay every fear at My feet.
I will carry you until you can stand again—and even then, I will never leave your side.
“Even to your old age and gray hairs I am He, I am He who will sustain you. I have made you and I will carry you; I will sustain you and I will rescue you.” — Isaiah 46:4
