Isn't that what it means to know me?
“He gave justice and help to the poor and needy, and everything went well for him. Isn’t that what it means to know me?” says the LORD.” Jeremiah 22:16 NLT We ask God to make himself known to us and for Him to show us who He is and to give us more of Him. But all that He is can be found in His own words that were already given to us through scripture. I love this part in Jeremiah that describes what knowing God looks like...simply by helping the poor and needy. If we're not doing that, do we really even know Him? “Dear friends, let us continue to love one another, for love comes from God. Anyone who loves is a child of God and knows God.” 1 John 4:7 NLT
