sorry to put things in the ask. I get the whole doing ptsd wrong too. Childhood trauma but even as a kid pastels and cute things always unsettled me. Hospitals give me the same vibes. Like the creeps. I always get the feeling the pastels and cute image is there to hide all the dark stuff and death underneath. I prefer darker aesthetics cuz at least it's out in the open for me to see. It's a weird comfort. Sorry.
Oh, absolutely. It’s death under smiley faces and I HATE IT. It’s why I like dark stories, villains, etc. Thanos doesn’t pretend he doesn’t want people dead.
