 higher octave of her voice suggests naught but violence from akina's men , they stay still because akina herself had commanded them to ; akina's silence will be a rather bruising weapon if the little bird keeps acting like this . the yakuza which akina leads has clear rules and even clearer consequences if they ever dare to break one . yoojin has a past that binds her to jinsu and jinsu has been a thorn to her side for too long . akina didn't come here to chit chat , she was never interested in girly talk . perhaps yoojin's anger is justified ( considering the fact that akina basically broken down the door to her apartment and barged in with three armed men - ) but the smallest ounce of suspicion would simply lead to yoojin's tragic lover , and if she was foolish enough to fall into his web once more . akina cared , because she had let the girl in on many classified information that she regrets giving yoojin now . she smiles , softly ; this is angering her , this is testing her patience . her question went too far , perhaps ? ' have you been meeting up with jinsu as of late ? ' ❛ no . i believe you don't . ❜ sharp nails drum on her thigh , one pale leg resting atop the other . she mumbles something in japanese , one of her men move to close the door . ❛ you answer to no one . who am i to ask questions ? ❜ akina starts , voice soothing , like velvet . ❛ i am only fit to remind you some results about which road you are taking to walk in ; my organisation cannot tolerate betrayal and secret affairs with the enemy . nor it will stay . . . docile if you keep it up with jinsu . ❜

vis backstory includes parental neglect, mental illness, grooming, domestic abuse, heavy drug use + alcoholism, body image issues, etc etc hes run the gamut. and he can be such a dreary person sometimes so its like... i gotta provide a moment of relief for the reader from absorbing all of the negative, sadder parts of his life. and sure that doesnt work in a lot of tragic backstories but it works here so im pretty much sticking with it. if i wrote vi in a paint-by-numbers style it’d be too much angst and sadness and sometimes that wears on a reader jdgdkgfd and me as a writer. like yeah his life has been sad. but also he’s just really, really weird. almost unnervingly strange. anyway ty!

 the way akina is handling it , like red suits her better than anything she wears . a ballroom of corpses and blood dripping on the ground from the table , the table she was forced to sit through for a few hours before she killed them . guns aren't her personal favourites really , but she made do . seated on the chair with the kalashinkov lazily gripped by a red hand , chest heaving gently . her question makes akina chuckle , eyes closing . yoojin isn't a stranger to all this red , she keeps telling her to slow down ; to kill without making it this painful . if she has to kill . ❛ i'm fine . & my flight was awful , thanks for asking . ❜
