“I brought you some Camembert.”
“5 Times the Love” (FOR GODRUINATION YOU KNOW IT)
she knows she’s in love, the moment he speaks to her as if she’s something more than a common criminal. as if he understood why she did the things she did. boredom && rules set in place before her that she just had to break. he didn’t call for the guards her talk to her as if she wouldn’t understand a thing he said.
he was something she had never experienced before.
“But I have homework to do before patrol tonight and I have make sense of Alya’s notes from yesterday because of the Akuma attack. I don’t have time for sleep! Everything is fine.”
Marinette replied as she started to reach for her coffee. She’s already lost track of what cup she was on. Between school, homework, Akuma attacks, and patrols she was at her wits end. It was even more evident given that she was still wearing the same Chat Noir pajamas she was wearing yesterday.

"TIKKI!" She fell, and he ran forward to catch her. it wasn't supposed to be this hard. just one day. one small break for their champions after a long slew of akuma attacks. rationally, he knew that she would be fine. but, he wasn't the most rational of kwami to begin with. he lay her down with shaking arms, she was a goddess, she would be fine. but she was in pain, she was breathing but her eyes wouldn't open. he turned a vile glare on the villain of the week. but they weren't smart enough to
fear the god they’d just angered. hiding behind a victim was the human plagg was growing to hate. “You’re lucky that she’s immortal, Hawkmoth.” he won’t bother speaking to the akuma. he doesn’t blame them. he moves faster than before, too fast, the aura of raw destruction that follows is devastating. his fingers barely brush the totem before it’s turned to dust, the akuma itself soon to follow, the pavement cracks, everything around him is dying. he knows tikki will fix it when she wakes up.
