An awesome quote I have seen Joyce Meyer share is : "I'm not where I need to be but thank God I'm not where I used to be, I'm okay and I'm on my way." This morning, I felt a reassurance of the fact that I'm okay, even if I don't do everything perfectly. In Christ, we are enough. You may not be blinging all the fruits of the Spirit but you are an excellent work in progress. By God's grace, you have escaped world statistics e.g. percentages of unsuccessful children from broken homes. You have risen above the circumstances life handed you and have made great choices. Believing in Jesus being the BEST of them all. You might grunt, "hmm I haven't always made great choices." That's okay. Breath in your lungs signifies that you can still make right choices today. Choices like believing you are righteous and made a new creation in Jesus Christ. (2 Cor 5:17, 21) Don't worry. Be thankful. Even if you make a mistake at work, you're not the best sibling or child or you don't do so well in a module at Uni, thank God for where you are (on a path of greatness) and realign with who He says you are (saved and full of potential). Pray and ask for wisdom on how to improve, let the truth of God's Word change your beliefs since right believing equals right living.
