We sometimes wonder why God allows suffering and what He's doing when we're going through hard times. I think this verse shows us part of the answer: when we suffer, He suffers too, but He also carries us and comes to save us. That's why Jesus was born: to save us and redeem us. That's why we celebrate Christmas! 👑 . . In all their suffering he also suffered, and he personally rescued them. In his love and mercy he redeemed them.
