FEATHER COVERING ~ He will cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you will find refuge; His faithfulness will be your shield and rampart. Psalm 91:4 I never take a feather on my path for granted. I see them as a little nudge from God. Feathers prompt me to remember the promises in Psalms 91 — a powerful declaration of God’s faithful love and protection over our lives — wherever we may be and whatever our circumstances. So I gather up the feathers and smile in gratitude for the reminder. I'm being covered in God's love and angels are always watching over me. 😇 Be on the lookout for feathers on your path today. WINTER’S LULLABY ~ “Then you will call upon Me and come and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. You will seek Me and find Me when you seek Me with all your heart. I will be found by you,” declares the Lord. Jeremiah 29:12-14 Icy branches glistening. Blankets of snow covered lawns. Freezing temperatures. Majestic views out every window. With the blustery weather comes sacred rhythms of slowing down. And that’s a good thing for my soul. In winter’s slow time, I’m able to savor simple delights — Sitting by the fire. Popcorn and movies. Photographing the snowstorms. Slow mornings spent sipping coffee over no-rush devotions and prayer. Paying attention to the power and creativity of God. And this is how I want to live — in the stillness and peace of God’s Presence. When the world is stormy and my soul is quiet and at rest. There is a time for everything under heaven, and winter is a time to withdraw for a while to listen for the whispers of God. I want to make space for the Lord in my days. So welcome sweet lullaby of winter. DAILY FAITH DECLARATION: In repentance and rest I will be saved. In quietness and trust is my strength. VIEWPOINT

Rise up and shine, for your light has come. Lift up your eyes and look around you, and see. Then you will see and shine with joy. Your heart will be glad and full of joy. Isaiah 60:1,4-5 

Yesterday's song continued singing in my spirit throughout the night and was on my heart as I woke this morning...

Turn your eyes upon Jesus, look full in His wonderful face.

I know to pay attention when a verse or song keeps coming to mind. A little nudging of the Holy Spirit. And I'm reminded of the sweetness of the dwelling Presence of God. 

What would it look look like if I lived intentionally gazing into the eyes of Jesus?

I love this lake view. Everything sparkles in a delightfully clear way from the mountain top. I see things differently from this vantage point. 

Perhaps that's why we are encouraged to look up at Jesus. The Light of His Presence provides a wise point of view as we walk through our days. 

The things of earth grow strangely dim when we turn our eyes upon Jesus and see things from His heart's position.
