Just cut them some slack.

Don't worry with impressing others

Instead make an impact.

Love unconditionally

Love for a fact.

That's something we need more of

We need love in heaps and stacks.

We're the Lords children, and sometimes the Lord will put us through hardships as punishments for our sins like parents do when we're disobedient. When God just puts you in a simple hardship, he's basically putting you in the corner you like your parents may do.

But in Hell it's like you've been disowned, but you haven't. You just ran away, you decided to choose money, food, water, and the world over God. If we put anything first instead of God, and if we don't have faith in him. He will then say to us blankly on Judgement Day

"I never knew you... Depart from me you evildoer."
