REALLY ZEUS?
Most of us know that Zeus had a bit of a problem controlling himself.....and this led to him being the father to around 100 hundred children, both divine, and mortal.
His most notable godly offspring include, Aphrodite, Artemis, Hermes, Persephone, Ares, Hephaestus and Dionysus, which, believe it or not, all came from DIFFERENT short-lived love affairs between various goddesses, many of whom were his sisters.
Here is a list of some of his most notable mortal children along with their accomplishments:
1. Perseus- A great hero and later king of Argos.
2. Minos- King of Crete
3. Hercules/Heracles- The greatest of all greek heroes, completed 12 great labors, including slaying the Nemean lion in attempt to earn immortality. (He was also ridiculously strong)
4. Alexandros the great- A king of Macedonia and later conqueror of much of the world.
5. Helene- eloped in Troy with her lover, Paris.
6. Tantalos- A criminal, but a king nonetheless.
Most of his other children became kings or queens of various island or civilizations, many of them the first rulers.
¡Ai! Me morí...
