Now Is The Time To Build
Fannie Mae’s Economic & Strategic Research Group reports that the housing market will push forward due to a strengthening economy. Realtor Mag says, “Fannie economists point to several positives in the housing recovery’s favor: Low gasoline prices,stronger labor market conditions, rising household net worth, improvingconsumer and business confidence, and reduced fiscal headwinds. Fannie economists predict the economy to climb to 3.1 percent this year, up from its prior estimate of 2.7 percent.“ Read more Here
Couple that with Kiplinger’s report that quotes the Charleston metro area home prices up 7.5% from 1-Year ago, but still down 9.3% from Mid-2006 (peak of the national housing market). 2015 is predicted to be a great year for a new home. Growth, but prices not at peak yet.
