Circuit Board and Binary-Print Kimonos, Zōri Sandals, and Tabis by the Japanese designer gofukuyasan
Created by Gofukuyasan.com, an online marketplace known for their whimsical kimono designs, the watermelon kimono features a bright green and black exterior, resembling the rind, and a red obi, mimicking the juicy flesh of a watermelon. It’s a cotton hitoe kimono, which means it has no liner, making it perfect for the warmer times of the year.
The watermelon kimono is available in both women and mens sizes, and typically require a 90-day turnaround as each piece is made-to-order.
Pressure points
I got those, they are great.
So excited about my cute new obi from Gofukuyasan!! I actually received it much earlier this month but only now have some time to look at it properly and try some basic coords with it.
I’m not sure what colours other than cream/beige I can try to pair it with, and am open to suggestions for ideas!
I was up past my bedtime drooling over gofukuyasan's haoris, obis, furisodes and kimonos.
Salome kimono
KimoNovember Day 23: a summery coord today with my turquoise Gofukuyasan cotton kimono and surfing polar bears Wakka obi! Also paired this obi with a Palnart Poc fish obidome. I love that it’s unapologetically loud and colourful!
