@aestheticheartcass Here is #GoGirlsTat #4: I call this tat "dedication." It was done in two parts. I got the @GoGirlsMusic icon part of the logo inked on July 7, 2007. Then one day out of the blue in December 2007 I decided to add the words "GoGirls Music." I knew this was a bold move but felt it needed to be done. Now the super GoGirls tattoo was born! I had the tattoo artist use the GoGirls bumper sticker to stencil the words out. I saved this It was perfect. Exactly what I wanted! I felt this tattoo was truly dedication to the GoGirls community that I've built. Of course I would never expect anyone to get this tattoo. I'm always blown away when someone goes and gets a GoGirls tattoo. It just goes to show how much dedication there is in this amazing community. #soproud #gogirlsmusic

@aestheticheartcass Here is #GoGirlsTat #3: I got this tattoo on February 28, 2007 and had it placed on my right wrist. Here's the story: I was at Folk Alliance a few weeks before and was sporting a temporary @gogirlsmusic #tattoo on my right wrist. I had hatched a brilliant plan to basically create a buzz at a music conference. I walked around inviting people to join the GoGirls "secret meeting." Now to attend the "secret meeting" you needed to have a GoGirls tattoo. I then proceeded to show off my "real" GoGirls tattoo. I told people if they didn't have the real thing they could simply wear the temporary tattoo, show it at the door and gain access to the secret meeting. Oh what a buzz this created! There were people walking around the conference sporting the temporary tattoo and talking about the "secret meeting." At one point someone on my team asked, "so what is the 'secret meeting' about anyway?" I said, "beats me! I haven't figured that out yet!" As this played out I quickly realized the meeting would be about creating a buzz at a music conference, because that is exactly what I ended up doing. During the meeting I asked several of our members to get up and speak about their experience being part of the community. When I got home from the conference I couldn't stop looking at my temporary tattoo on my right wrist. I loved that spot and I loved the memories that came with the "secret meeting." I quickly decided to go ahead and get the real deal put on my wrist.

@aestheticheartcass Here is #GoGirlsTat #2: On July 22, 2006 I along with two of the original Fab 4 decided to get a second GoGirls #tattoo. This was a new design from one of the members. We went back to Golden Apple in Austin. I put this on my right shoulder. #gogirlsmusic #tattoos

@aestheticheartcass asked to see all 4 of my @gogirlsmusic #tattoos. Here we go! #GoGirlsTat #1: I was at Folk Alliance in Austin, TX and decided in between acts at a public show I was hosting for GoGirls on 6th Street, that I would run next door to Golden Apple Tattoo and get the GoGirls stick figure tattooed on my right ankle. It was Feb 11, 2006. I had a great tattoo artist named Benja who was a guest tattoer in town from Santa Cruz, CA. I gave him my business card so he could scan the logo from it. It didn't take long because it was a quick tattoo. But I had to run back next door to the show and introduce the next act. Three other GoGirls with me that night decided on-the-spot they would get the same GoGirls tattoo in the same spot on their ankle. OMG!! I was so flattered. It was one of the best night's of my life. The Fab 4 and their GoGirls tattoos! Madalyn, Leslie, Georgia and Melissa. The running back and forth between the tattoo studio and the show was priceless. Our headliner, #MelissaFerrick, was waiting patiently for me to introduce her onstage. And no, she's not the Melissa in the Fab 4. But a cool coincidence. Someone came barging into the tattoo shop yelling, "Melissa Ferrick" is ready NOWWWWWW! I will never forget that moment. I literally ran back to the club, through the front door. It was a full house! I could barely get to the stage. I apologize to Melissa profusely, telling her a group of us were next door getting GoGirls tattoos. She smiled and said it was okay. I then ran to the mic, introduced her, and ran back out of the club and into the tattoo shop next door. This was getting exhausting. LOL! After the last tat was done, we all went next door, gabbed some beers and made our way up front just in time for Ferrick's last song. Oh what a night!
