can you tell me about your gohdatrice theory, please? i'm genuinely fascinated!

oh gosh, it was honestly more of a crack theory than anything genuine! i went into episode seven already understanding shannon was beatrice in at least some way, so i was really reading into everything that wasn't obvious already. i think kanon and gohda got kind of introduced to us side by side in a scene in that episode, with something along the lines of "a universe needs to be created by two people, so i will have kanon as a little brother of sorts, and recently gohda came to the island too", which?? made me think sayo was just doing full drag with him as a persona? i don't know, i thought he was kind of this part of her that was traditionally masculine in an adult way, but also the part that could shamelessly ask for validation and praise. again, it's a crack theory, i stopped believing it after about another ten minutes of reading because it barely made sense from the start, but the way he was introduced confused me a little. honestly, it should have been that way, let sayo be a drag king on top of all the other transness going on
