Hello! I'm Al, french nerd somewhere in my twenties. Cis guy, you can also use "she/her" pronouns. I talk about a lot of things in my blogs, but I intend it to be primarily about Higurashi and Umineko.

I'm often posting contents with spoilers. I'm trying to label every corresponding post with #higurashi spoilers and #umineko spoilers. Please block these tags if you didn't finish. I can't promise that I won't accidently give hints or spoilers, so maybe wait until you finished before you follow me? Finally, I use the tags #ramblings to write my personnal annoying thoughts.

I block liberally blogs with opinions I disagree. However, if we're mutual at any point, I promise I will never block you.

Until today, I've only dealt with heartbreaks. During last years, I accepted that I may never live romance in my life. It was not that bad, I have a lot of friendships and familial relations to hone. But my absence of love would always be a regret. The best I could do would be to accept and live with that sadness.

Now a little thing is happening and I'm already dreaming about building an intimate relationship. I want to see the other person. I'm starting to feel a happiness that I forgot. But at the same time, I know that when it inevitably ends, I'm going to feel dejected, like I've already felt, maybe even more so.

Fuck, I've spent years building a fatalist personality, and in a few days I'm throwing everything away.

I know that "autogynephilia" is a violent attack towards trans women. But I've never understood why it was supposed to be an insult. You feel aroused when you think about you as a woman/wear women's clothes/whatever? That's cool!

I recommended Steins;Gate to two female friends. They both gave up because they couldn't handle the constant sexism and transphobia. Since that, I'm very cautious when I talk about it. And I'm a bit ashamed.

My feelings are complicated. I have a lot of love, I was obsessed by it during months and it's hard to communicate how perfect chapter 10 is, and how one of the romances is engraved in my heart. But it's hard to be comfortable with it. That's why I spend my time bashing it even if it's one of my favorite things.

There are more and more and more WTC artists on my dash and subscriptions. Wow. You're so many and you're doing such great art!!

When I finished Higurashi and Umineko, I wasn't on tumblr. I didn't really know where to look for art, so I downloaded everything I found.

It's even Umineko that brought me here! I created my account to look at azumi-kun art!

Then, I took the habit of following good WTC artists, and people who reblogged WTC artists. And know, I'm not kidding, I'm discovering at least one artist every week! I can't follow everyone anymore, sorry guys ^^

Anyway, thank you for being that many. You're doing great art, that's amazing! Thank you for making this 20-years old fandom as lively as it is!

It was strange to talk with a German guy, who lauded Paris for being the city "that bans cars". When I think about Paris last years, my memories are usually about walking in streets full of cars. I had tinnitus after walking two days in noisy streets.

Paris is not banning cars, but the city is taking great efforts to reduce it and make other mode of transportation viable. It's great and inspiring. But the city was so car-friendly ~15 years ago that even now, it's not the car-free paradise that people imagine.

Reddit annoyed me. So during one year, I'm going to they/them Mion.

I'm in my late twenties, insecure, and leaving the first thing looking like a romance in my life. It's emotionally exhausting. But it's OK :)

I see people saying things like: "If incels can't date girls, it's because of their terrible personality." Or: "They should go outside and have hobbies." And I'm sorry, but I have to disagree entirely. I know, incels are horrible, and it's satisfying to dunk on them. The problems are:

You assume that incels are people who can't date, and that's wrong. Incelism are male supremacist ideology, the struggle to date is only an entry point.

A part of incelism is to think that men have a right to possess women, and that being rejected by women is an injustice they face. The best way to counter their ideology is to refuse to treat the struggles of some boys in dating as a societal issue.

I really don't like when people say "they could date if they were less repulsive". It's taking the "dating issue" too seriously. It's playing into "girlfriend as a reward for being a good person", which is part of incel ideology.

Mocking incels because they are socially awkward is ableist. Period. My problem with incels isn't that they're weird, it's that they're violently misogynistic.

I want to insist: there's something both ableist and incel-adjacent to this discourse. Please. Don't post like that.

Eva and Hideyoshi : i feel like it’s the type where everyone is very chill to your face then you learned you’re fired or get complaints for no reasons you can identify and everyone gives you the silent treatment when you try to ask. However it’s a big chain, if you overwork yourself enough you might be invisible and get away with it.

Rosa : small business « it’s a passion project you have to give it your all », the boss have drinks with you but she also yells at you and guilt trip you to work more hours.

Kyrie and Rudolf : they know every single rule in the book and how to avoid getting in illegal territory while exploiting and morally harassing you as much as they can get away with. Rudolf sends Kyrie because of her ✨Female Touch✨ to be the bearer of bad news, everyone is cordial and nice but it’s extremely cutthroat and you WILL be fucked over if you’re not a shark. (EDIT : if you are a woman you better be careful because if Kyrie is under the impression you might be after Rudolf or if Rudolf is after you… life ruined.)

Natsuhi and Krauss (I mean technically it’s just Natsuhi but we don’t have that much info of what being under Krauss would be like he just gambles all day) : Child Labor 🫶 but who cares about that. Well paid but you’re living there and your boss is detail oriented, depressed and prone to anger. You’re the only outlet and thing she has power over. Also it’s hard labor.

Watched a video that was "why I left the left" that could be summarized as "I got an addiction with twitter arguments and got into fights with everyone".

I don't know, but if you think that "the left" is people who scream online, then maybe the problem is twitter.
