I really hope every person who feels the need to tag our posts with "Cloth masks are better than nothing" takes a good hard look in the mirror and examines why they feel the need.
"Use the best mask you can afford" is right there if you're adamant that you're just "trying to be inclusive".
Masks are not a way to flag your political affiliation. Masks need to serve the material reality we're currently facing.
Disabled folks - and those who could become disabled by COVID or otherwise - deserve a whole lot better than "better than nothing".
Raise the bar for your air, for your health, and for your community.
lnds is genuinely so fun when you never log on to twitter

This blog is not an ego trip. It has been a labour of love, which has brought back so many memories of the wonderful people I have worked with. Having been here, on Tumblr, for a very long time it was by far the best platform to fill in all the gaps missing on our website. You can check out back then to now via the Archive HERE
I retired from ‘front line’ music activities in 2017 following a 7-yr period of music management and owner of a boutique record label. All outstanding ‘mechanical’ advances were written off and song ownership returned to the creators (we never took any share of Intellectual Copyright – song writing). We retained the right to promote the songs. During that period, we worked with some great singers and songwriters.
With most of the historic record label and management information posted, this blog will remain quiet for a while. I continue to support Sahrya and work with Britain’s Got Reggae (Copyright Training and Competition) and there will be occasional posts concerning them and also some rarities about those we have previously worked with.
The Koffe an Kreem website is HERE. All songs on there are HQ 320K and ours are available for free download.
The committee shouted that they loved Caine but nobody voted for him. And everyone loves Caine in the fandom but he was in last place in the votes.
Huh.
As someone from a “young poor boys get recruited by criminals way too often and never come back out” country, thank you Lucasfilm. It is a rough conversation, and not one many people are willing to have. To add it to a children’s show, and a very beloved animated character slams that door wide open.
We need to have these conversations. We need to address the problem at the root, and the root is not miserable children stealing to eat, or even grown men who went through the same thing when they were younger and are now perpetuating the cycle by grooming other children.
It’s poverty. It’s the lack of social policies. Of support to orphans, and children with unfit parents. It’s corruption. It’s no one willing to put in the work where it’s actually needed, but rather building prisons and police brutality. Star Wars made a point to show what the city looked like before Niro, and after he started to put in the effort.
Really, thank you Dave. Thank you.
