Alternative To Shampoo
We all know how drying shampoos can be for our natural hair especially the ones loaded with sulfates. The aim of shampoos are to strip your hair from all the dirt, build up and the natural oils our scalp produces called sebum.
As the natural hair community grows larger and larger naturalistas have found new and inventive ways to get the hair and scalp clean without completely stripping the hair of its moisture. One such way is the use of castile soap.
So what is castile Soap?
Oils For Liquid Castile Soap. Castile soap is made exclusively with vegetable oils. There will be no lard, tallow, or other animal fats in a Castile soap. Traditionally, a Castile soap was made with 100% olive oil, but modern Castile-style soaps, including Dr. Bronner's and Dr. Woods blend in other vegetable oils, like coconut.
