Going into battle
Then Asa called to the Lord his God and said,
“Lord there is no one like you to help the powerless against the mighty. Help us, O Lord our God, for we rely on you, and in your name we have come against this vast army. O Lord, you are our God; do not let man prevail against you”
2 Chronicles 14:11
I read my bible daily, like I feed myself, I feed my spirit by making time to connect with Christ everyday and throughout the day.
So today after I had skipped (thank you Jesus for my physical strength and music to get me moving in the morning!) I listened to a short Video that Russell Brand had posted in relation to a report by Naomi Klein. Ultimately it mapped out where we are heading via the desires of the tech giants and corporation to run the world - watch it...
The overwhelming feeling I had at the end, was that all will be well. This felt strange for me because I normally feel enraged and panicked with this crazy feeling of what can we do? s**t, f**k no!!!
But today was different, I felt a sense of all will be well, we have to resist but do it with Christ, connect, love one another and take back the free will that God gave us that is rapidly being stripped at this time of change.
Let me share how the bible works for me. I was tiring, dozing off even as I read, but I came to the final paragraph that I had decided to read up until, then I read the passage above.
I love how things like that happen, just hanging in there long enough to hear the word. It filled me with confidence and conviction in what I had thought earlier and fuelled me to share this message, that all is not lost if we have faith in Christ and follow his basic teachings.
Connect with one another, share your truths, love and efforts - serve one another.
Be patient and connect to the power, courage and strength that is in love. Don’t just take and accept everything that is being presented to you. Look for ways that you can make a tiny difference in your world what can you do to take control back a little. Use cash or your pin maybe? seems silly right, but it’s not - don’t hand over everything to your phone.
Stop and read more... xxx
