I simply can’t decide between these two, I love them both
Godzilla is definitely way more adamant that he does not like Kong, even though he does. In the perfect little scenario, these two are already husbands who hang out and love each other, and have a very relaxed relationship. They also get to comfort each other on their own things that they’re working out, especially Kong who’s a little starstruck that he’s finally feeling affection from someone not a million times smaller than him. I will also accept more of a slow burn relationship, and will take any shipping fuel Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire gives me, because I think it has the potential for huge accidental-gay-reading.
As for GojixDagon…c’mon, I’ve got the comic and everything. They’re very committed, they love each other a lot, just some good old gay lizard yaoi. When they first met, Dagon was taller and stronger than him, while now it’s Godzilla who’s larger, and they get to have lots of cute banter about it. Dagon is good for keeping the reins on Godzilla when he gets too angry and egotistical, he’s there to be like “whatever big boy lets go back home”. So long as Godzilla’s backstory is never explored in canon, GojiDagon can be as accurate as I say it is.
