just got back from a ""date"" w/ a dude who was drunk the whole time while shuffling around trying to simultaneously apologize for his friends (who were all both aggressively straight and belligerent nerds who wanted to pick fights with me about nerd shit) and also attempt to impress me

tl;dr a dude can be a real cool dude but if you don't like the company he keeps he is probably not date material

also godzilla was cool, B+, wish there was less manpain and more actual japanese people but monsters were hella. ken watanabe turning to the camera and fearfully saying "we called it.... gojira!!!!" was very satisfying.
