Transcript

Panel 1: Gold Arrow is defensively grumbling at Astral in the sitting room, saying “What utter paridise did you even come from? Regardless... You’ll need a room for the night, rest for now and I’ll send someone to fetch you for dinner.”

Panel 2: Astral is exploring a comfortable looking palace room. His bags are on the dresser.

Panel 3: Astral is resting on the bed, writing in his journal.

Panel 4: A closeup of a book and a pen. The letters are cut off by the shot, but what is visible reads:

I’ve decided-

What sort of insane place is this??? He tried to kill me!

Transcript:

Panel 1: Arrow watches, startled, as Hailstorm leaps onto Astral’s back and tries to stab him with magic daggers. Astral has been tripped with similarly magical chains.

Panel 2: Two pegasi chat while walking down another hall. The larger, a golden stallion, is talking to a smaller dark purple mare. 

Noble (Stallion, quietly): And so this kid, he thinks he can race me. But get this! He-

Panel 3: Both pegasi startle as a scream is heard from Astral, off screen. Noble floofs his wings, and Velvet (the mare) leaps off screen.

Panel 4: Noble has come to check on the source of the scream, concerned. Astral is laying on the floor, relieved, and Arrow holds Hail up by magic, glaring.

Noble: What’s going on here? I heard a scream!

Arrow: Just Hailstorm. Attacking a guest.

Panel 5: A closeup of Arrow glaring at Hail, who looks innocently amused.

Arrow: You can be a little jerk sometimes, you know.

Wait, crowded by who now?

Transcript:

Panel 1: Arrow and Astral are walking together, Astral glancing behind himself nervously.

Arrow: Come on kid, we’re almost there. Ignore Echo’s... I don’t even know what to call it.

Panel 2: Astral and Arrow walk into a white palace. A dark grey and purple unicorn watches them from a balcony.

Panel 3: Astral and Arrow walk through a hall in the castle, a row of windows alongside them. The unicorn peers in from one.

Arrow: I have a guest room open, but most are taken already.

Panel 4: Astral looks behind nervously, the unicorn now standing behind him with a grin and an evil glint in his eye.

Arrow: It’s getting crowded.

Transcript:

Panel 1: Fable, a pink unicorn with heterochromia and gold magic, is holding a knife with telekinesis.

Fable: I get a little too excited one time and he decides I need to cut grass with a knife.

Echo: Without magic.

Fable: Without magic.

Panel 2: Fable, annoyed, is standing beside Thought Echo, who looks at her fondly. King Gold arrow stands in the foreground, speaking to behind him.

Arrow: This is my court wizard, Thought echo, and his apprentice, Fable.

Echo: She’s a furious little fluff nugget~

Panel 3: Echo is circling around Astral, eyes and horn glowing with purple magic with a decidedly non-unicorn taint to it. He curls his tail around Astral’s face.

Echo: And my, Arrow, who’s this? He has all manner of tales to tell~

Astral: Wha-?

Panel 4: Echo, eyes and horn still glowing, getting up close in Astral’s face, who is very uncomfortable.

Echo: And no, colt. I’m not just a pony.

Panel 5: Arrow is pushing Echo back, angry.

Arrow: Enough, Echo! Can you stop being creepy for two seconds?

Panel 1:

Arrow, furious: The White Stag ran right past here, and you say you didn’t see where it went?

Panel 2:

Astral, distraught: I swear! You’re the first person I’ve seen in this world!

Panel 3:

Arrow, confused: That’s- Wait, what? This… world?

Panel 4:

Astral, excited: Yeah! I’m from another dimension! I’m here to learn about everything!

Arrow, annoyed: That’s ridiculous.

Astral: No, I’m serious!

Panel 5:

Arrow, face-hoofing: Apparently my hunt is going to have to wait. I sure hope you’re not just crazy.

The first inhabitant of this new world! Aaaaaaand he’s mad at me.

Transcript:

Panel 1:

A white stag leaps over a forest stream.

Panel 2:

A stallion with a crown and royal collar leaps over the same stream, looking serious.

Panel 3:

The stallion, Gold Arrow, confronts Astral on a forest path. He is clearly angry, and Astral backs away as if startled.

Arrow: Where did it go??

Astral: What?

Arrow: The Stag! I almost had it!

A closeup of Astral looking desperately confused

Astral: I don’t have any idea what you’re talking about!

Astral and Arrow walk through a garden, which is groomed in a semi-english style with many hedges and a fountain.

Astral: You live in a castle???

Arrow: Well, I am a king.

Panel 2:

Astral, very excited: Wait, do Celestia and Luna not exist here???

Arrow, annoyed: Celestia and Luna are false prophets leading a cult kingdom.

Panel 3:

Astral, sad: Oh…

Panel 4:

Astral and Arrow are leaving the gardens, only Astral’s hindquarters are visible.

Astral, narrating: That certainly doesn’t sound right.
