Inspiration: Gold Elements
I know that Christmas is around the corner and when this time comes around I’m always excited but also crazy stressed. Excited because I just love Christmas but stressed cause I’m just short of ideas for presents for loved ones. But this year I’ve discovered Gold Elements. I love their stuff and the staff at the Chatswood store are super friendly. So I did a little Christmas Shopping there.

Gold Elements* Age Treatment Transforming Mask: Review
Now, before we get started-- I understand this is a very expensive product, but I've very recently stumbled upon it after losing it in one of the many moves I've made over the past year. Bear with me, the affordable content has yet to come.
I want to say I discovered this product almost two years ago, in Las Vegas. I managed to purchase the product, fall in love with it, and then lose it-- completely-- in a matter of six months or so. Thankfully, I just relocated it, yesterday, and could not be happier.
Noteworthy:
Product: Gold Elements Age Treatment Transforming Mask
Testimonial: "...aids the appearance of wrinkles and lightens the appearance of pigments and age spots. Inspired by advanced cosmetic research it contains effective encapsulated age defying ingredients combined with trace elements of gold to give a youthful appearance to your skin..." - http://goldelements-usa.com/
Size: 50ml / 1.7FL.oz
Application: "Onto cleansed dry skin apply 2-3 times a week. Massage in soft circular movements, you will know you are done once the mask changes to gold color. Leave on for 3-5 minutes and wash away." - http://goldelements-usa.com/
Cost: @ http://goldelements-usa.com : $599.00 BUT can be bought on Amazon for $50.00 (ayyy, $avings.)
Time Span: I had this product for about six months (before losing) and managed to work my way through 1/3 of the bottle, or so. Contrary to the application process recommended by the Gold Elements website, I only use this product about once a week.
Thoughts:
I have to admit that it's damn near vomit-worthy to own such a ridiculously priced product, I do. I will also admit that it was a gift, and that-- even against my better judgement-- I have used and loved this product since the first time I tried it.
The consistency is nice, very easy to apply, and has a soft, subtle scent to it. The mask itself is a light cream color, with small flecks of glittering gold mixed in. There is something very appealing about the texture (especially because mine is a little old). It's a little on the thicker side, and has an incredible smoothness to it, even though you're applying it to dry skin.
I, myself, have very sensitive skin and can hardly ever find a mask gentle enough not to turn my face bright, tomato red but also give that satisfying after-mask feel. I'm able to lather my face (if "lather" can b used to describe it-- I use very little product due to my sensitivity) up and go about my business for a short while without worrying that my face is going to melt off.
The big attention-grabber to this product is the color changing technology. As the website states, "as you apply the mask the encapsulated active ingredients break out so you can see them deploy onto your skin as the masks color transforms from white to gold." Your face literally turns gold. I wish I had taken a legitimate photo of this when I used it yesterday. Unfortunately, all I have is this poor excuse for a witty Snapchat.
Even with the overbearing filter, you can see the golden hue, cant you? Do you see it? Do you see the gold?
A n y w a y, I can't say I don't love this product-- if to weren't for the price, I would be more than willing to repurchase. If you ever get your hands on this product, I hope you love it as much as I do.
Also, I'll add a few more photos (legitimate ones) later on today.
xoxo Mia
