@goldbcrg: [ weep ] for Joe to catch Blair crying
BLAIR DOESN’T MAKE IT A HABIT OF CRYING on her friend’s filthy stoops, ( she is blair waldorf, after all! ) but today calls for an exception. with serena on a tour of the greek islands, and the fact that blair doesn’t really like peach, the only friend she has left to cry to is beck. sweet, understanding beck who is god knows where! because she’s not home, that’s for certain.
she’s crying into the tissue in her hands when she hears approaching footsteps, and she lifts her head in hopes of seeing her friend, but instead groans in annoyance. ❝ beck’s not here right now. and i don’t know when she’ll be back, so don’t bother asking. ❞ not that she’d tell him, anyway.

Portrayal: Whenever I’m scrolling through the dash and I come across your threads, I can’t help but literally /hear/ Joe’s voice when you write him. You have him down to a T and that’s such a hard thing to do! Especially with how awful of a person he is. Keep up the amazing work! You’re such a talented writer and I’m so happy we are following each other :)
how’s my portrayal.

PHONE BUZZES STEADILY IN LARGE HAND , FINDING AN EIGHTH CALL IN A ROW FROM HIS MOTHER . and ------ well , no , absolutely not was dealing with her an option right now . sharp sigh slips from lips , shifting uncomfortably on lawn chair until the sliver of sun that remained on him was suddenly blocked out . hazel lift , flecks of gold shining at ... the new neighbor , he could only suppose ? he squints , head cocking to the side as he shifts his battered jurassic park copy to the opposite chair and stands , dimple curving into left cheek whilst hand outstretches . “ new neighbor , right ? i’m victor , but vic’ll do . ”

she watches a lot of documentaries! like, serial killer documentaries at first. she’s lowkey into reality shows and stuff but she doesn’t really pay attention to them, just noise in the background while she’s sleeping.

CONSIDERING PAT’S OVERALL TEMPER, her tendency to let her anger overtake her and to lose herself in it, she doesn’t often lose her patience with joe. he rarely gives her a reason for it. things are good. until he’s started getting closer and closer to the part of her life she’s been trying to keep hidden from him, until he’s started knowing too much for his own good. and it’s that simple accusation that makes her toss whatever’s on her hands onto the wall; the expensive bottle of whiskey shattering into a million pieces, liquid spilling everywhere.
❝ i’m trying to keep you out of it! ❞ she raises her voice without realizing it, wouldn’t have been able to stop it even if she had. ❝ jesus, what do i have to do for you to fucking listen to me? ❞
as with every outburst, she only realizes she’s being unfair after she’s fucked up. the sigh that leaves her lips is shaky, like she’s holding back tears. she doesn’t meet his eyes as she moves to clean her own mess, grabbing at the largest shards of glass with her bare hands, unconcerned about potentially injuring herself.
❝ trust me, you don’t want to know what’s going on. so stop asking questions, joe. for your own good. ❞

Crumpled between her fingers sat a list of books she’d been tasked with finding , their reading list for her senior year. While the rest of her classmates were quick to rely on the internet , Love was different – and desperately needed to show her peers just that. Humming under her breath , she lowers her sunglasses on the bridge of her nose to scour the bookstore that smelled of cinnamon candles and dog-eared pages. Fingers trailed along spines as she as walked down the aisles , looking for titles she had memorized. But she found something else entirely.
“ Oh , hey , ” Well , isn’t he cute ? Prying her sunglasses off , she rests them atop her head before holding the scribbled list out to the bookstore employee. “ Can you help me find these – “ A squint of her eyes as she reads his name tag before beaming up at him. “ – Joe ? ”
