"Look at me, darling," Draco's voice cooed, honey-sweet. He brushed his thumb across Harry's lips.

Harry looked up; Draco intertwined his fingers into Harry’s hair.

“Open,” Draco instructed. Harry opened his mouth. Draco settled his cock on Harry’s tongue.

Draco pressed in deeper.

“Inhale.”

Harry inhaled.

Draco pushed into the back of his throat. “Good boy.”

Harry moaned loudly despite himself.

Draco stilled. “Potter?”

He could have told Draco that the Imperious hadn’t worked since he’d started, but Draco had called him “sweetheart” and kissed him… and Harry liked it.

“I’m not saying it,” Draco said with a scowl.

Harry smiled, hopelessly endeared by Draco’s stubbornness. “I know.”

Draco looked away, and when he met Harry’s eyes again they were filled with grief.

“My mum—She was the last person I—“ Harry felt Draco’s grip on him tighten. The bed felt too wide suddenly.

Harry brushed Draco’s hair back. “You look like her, you know.”

Draco searched Harry’s face. “Really?”

“Yeah,” Harry said softly. He still saw Narcissa in his dreams with perfect clarity (“Is Draco alive? Is he in the castle?”). She was beautiful, in all the same ways that Draco was beautiful. Eyes grey and knowing, mouth often downturned in thought, chin lifted and pointy.

Draco blinked a few times before hiding his face in Harry’s chest. He didn’t speak again, only held Harry in their too-large bed. He held him so close and so long that Harry knew he was saying what he did not speak aloud. Harry rubbed a hand on his back, I know.

Concern grew as Sirius watched Harry thrash back and forth in bed and then hiss "Ssssiriusssss…" followed by a short, commanding string of parseltongue.  "Harry," Sirius said softly, trying to wake him up, and Harry sat upright, gasping.  "Fuck!" Harry ran his hands through his hair, pulling at it in frustration. Then, quite urgently, he pulled his shirt over his head and threw it hard against the curtains. He yanked off his blankets and brought his knees to his chest breathing hard and fast.
